Task 1: Academic Writing (30%)

Students individually produce an academic writing based on the following topic:

1. Professional teachers need to be knowledgeable, possess pedagogical skills as well

as pedagogical content knowledge in teaching and learning. According to Mohamad
Sani (1998), teachers as professionals should possess such credible attributes.

In line with being a professional teacher, explain the characteristics of effective

teachers who showcase their competencies, performance capabilities and skills, over
time.
