INTRODUCTION

Summer season is the time when people get sweaty and feel
sticky almost every hour of everyday, making them lose of their
freshness and positivity. People of different ages do different
tiring activities daily. Kids are engaged in playing with their
playmates, teenagers are busy with catching up with their friends
and doing school-related things such as work immersion and summer
classes, while adults are doing their respective jobs. In
situations like these, a little touch of fragrance is all they
need to shoo away the pessimistic vibes surrounding them.

Flowers are undeniably one of the most fragrant things on

Earth that no one can resist their sweet scents: be it bees,
butterflies, or humans. People becoming so worked up these days,
are in need of perfume that will drive away the stench caused by
their sweat from a tiring day. Florascent, a perfume made of rose
petals, essential oils, aromatic compounds and fixative, is the
key to achieve long-lasting fragrance and freshness. Florascent,
the scent that brightens up your day.

BACKGROUND OR HISTORY

Perfume has existed in recorded history for over 4000 years

old. The word perfume comes from Latin "per" meaning "through"
and "fumum" or smoke. One of the oldest uses of perfume comes
from the burning of incense and aromatic herbs used in religious
services, often the aromatic gums, frankincense and mynh,
gathered from trees. The Egyptians were the first to incorporate
perfume into their culture followed by the ancient Chinese,
Hindus, Israelites, Carthaginians, Arabs, Greeks and Romans. The
earliest used of perfume bottles was Egyptian and dates to around
1000 BC. The Egyptian invented glass and perfume bottles which
one of the first common uses for glass.

Perfume enjoyed huge success during the 17th century.

Perfume gloves became popular in France and in 1656, the guild of
glove and perfume-makers was established. The use of perfume in
France grew steadily. The court of Louis XV was even named "the
perfume court" due to the scents that were applied daily not only
to the skin but also to clothing, fans and furnitures.

Today, most perfume is used to scent bar soaps. Some

products are even perfumed with industrial odorants to mask
unpleasant smells or to appeal "unscented". While fragrant
liquids used for the body are often considered perfume, true
perfume are defined as extracts or essences and contain a
percentage of oil distilled in alcohol. Water is also used. In
addition, the United States is the world's largest perfume market
with annual sales totalling several billions of dollars.
