The trainee was born on June 15, 1999 at Tagongon, Tagbina, Surigao

del Sur. He is the eight child of the ten children of Mr. Rodrigo Bandola and

Wenceslawa Bandola. He finished her elementary education in Tagongon

Elementary School, Tagongon, Tagbina, Surigao del Sur in 2011, and his

secondary education in Maglambing Integrated School, Maglambing, Tagbina,

Surigao del Sur in 2015. Right after graduation, he enrolled at Surigao Del Sur

State University-Tagbina Campus, taking up the Course Diploma in Agricultural

technology and graduated in the year 2017. He is currently taking up the course

Bachelor of Agricultural in the same University.

Poblacion, Lingig, Surigao del Sur in the year 2010-2011, and her secondary

School, at Osmeña Tagbina Surigao Del Sur in the year 2009-2014. Afterwards

Gilaga. He was born on March 23, 1997 in Sta. Cruz Bislig City.

He finished his elementary education in Sta. Cruz elementary School, in

the year 2008-2009 and his secondary education in Sta. Cruz National High

School in the year 2012-2013. Subsequently he enrolled in Surigao Del Sur State

University-Tagbina Campus taking up Diploma in Agricultural Technology. At

present he is on his way completing the course Bachelor of Agricultural

Technology.

oldest daughter among the five children of Mr. Alberto L. Cansancio and Mrs.

Ginalyn V. Cansancio. The trainee is presently residing at Purok-1, Sayon,

Tagbina, Surigao del Sur. She finished her Elementary Education at Sayon

Elementary School (SY. 2010-2011) and pursued her Secondary Education at

Tagbina National High School (SY. 2014-2015).

Her ambition, goals interest and determination in life encouraged her to be

an Agriculturist. She decided to enroll at Surigao Del Sur State University and

took up Bachelor of Agricultural Technology at Tagbina Campus.

Tagbina, Surigao del Sur. She is the youngest daughter among the five children

of Mr. Manuel A. Baclayo and Mrs. Letecia A. Baclayo. The trainee is presently

residing at P-6, Espijo, Sta. Juana, Tagbina Surigao del Sur. She finished her

Elementary Education at Sta. Juana Central Elementary School (SY. 2010-2011)

and pursued her Secondary Education at Sta. Juana National High School (SY.

2014-2015).

Her ambition, goals interest and determination in life encouraged her to be

an Agriculturist. She decided to enroll at Surigao Del Sur State University and

daughter among the five children of Mr. Henry E. Pareja and Mrs. Myraflor C.

Pareja. The trainee is presently residing at Malixi ,TagbinaSurigao del Sur. She

finished her Elementary Education at Malixi Elementary School (SY. 2010-2011)

and pursued her Secondary Education at Tagbina National High School (SY.

2014-2015).

Her ambition, goals interest and determination in life encouraged her to be

an Agriculturist. She decided to enroll at Surigao Del Sur State University and

took up Bachelor of Agricultural Technology at Tagbina Campus.

been present in the farm, for the acceptance of the trainees to their respective

divisions and showing great effort in providing the needs of the trainees and for

teaching and assisting them on how to do some farm activities effectively and

efficiently;

To our college professors who shared their valuable experiences in four

(4) years to gain knowledge, to be prepared and to be ready for the race of life;

To all the people they missed to mention, which help them made their

training realized, they will never forget all your goodness; and

Most of all, to our beloved creator Lord Jesus Christ "The Great Provider"

who deserves all the glory, honor and praise for the unfailing love, talent and for

setting them on this path, makes things possible and also for his infinite blessings

to the trainees to come up with this lifetime success.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

This narrative report contains the trainees’ experience and knowledge

gained during the On The-Job Training from the different agencies. The six

hundred forty hours (640hrs) is the required time to complete the training before

graduation with the cooperation of the different agencies.

The On-the-Job Training starts on November 06, 2018 until February 15,

2019 at Philippine Carabao Center (PCC) at CMU, Musuan, Maramag, Bukidnon.

The trainees’ have been taught the sufficient knowledge and skills on how to

raise water buffalos in a right manner with the new technologies and operations

for the promotion and marketing of carabao's milk products and in the process to

stimulate dairy entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the trainees was acquainted with

the production of water buffalo based on the technology that have been recently

used by PCC in the experimental and demonstration favor. This narrative report

serves as a proof of having successfully completed the requirements.

From November 06, 2018 to February 15, 2019, the trainees were mainly

focused on the activities in carabao production and were assigned to different

activities which were divided into six divisions, namely; Pasture Development

Division, Feedlot A Division, Feedlot B Division, Calf Rearing Division, Milk

Collection/Dairy Division and Processing/Marketing Division.

In the pasture division, the activities involve the maintenance and

development of farm operations such as fencing, pruning, weeding, liming,

harrowing and planting of forages. Feedlot Division then involves feeding,

watering, cleaning, waste management of the pens. Calf Rearing Division

involves care and management of calf, hand feeding, chopping of grasses using

forage chopper, ear tagging and ear notching. Milk Collection/Dairy Division

focused on the collection of milk using hand milking and milking machines. The

collected milk will then be processed in the Processing Division. Such activities

were labelling, sorting, processing of milk products; white cheese, toned milk,

choco milk and fresh milk. The last division is the Marketing Division where the

trainees were assigned to market the processed product.

As part of the internship, the trainees’ were required to take records in all

the activities undertaken and lessons learned from the said activities which will

serve as their guide in making their narrative report. They were also assigned to

lead the flag ceremony every Monday of the week, for them to perceive the

sense of belongingness in the said institution. They also have their rehearsal

from what they've learned from their respective assigned division every last day

of their duties (every 15 days), it serves as a requirement for the completion of

their On-the-Job training. Moreover, the accomplished task assigned to them

serves as the requirement for the completion of their On-The-Job Training.
