The first section of the workshop will focus on strength and endurance training.

Using
Barre technique (a combination of ballet, pilates) - we will build up your lower body strength in a
low impact high intensity workout.

The middle of the workshop will use more static positions with inspiration from Yoga and
hand balancing to continue building strength and support, this time through the upper body.
From this we will use the information and bodily awareness we have gained from the static
positions to move into some informed movement phrases.

The final section of the workshop will use the strength we have gained in a performance
standpoint. Working virtuosity, musicality and physicality of movement, we will move from
improvisational tasks to more set movement. The class will finish with a big phrase, drawing
from positions strengthened earlier in the class and the explosive physicality of the
improvisations.
