UNLV Curriculum Model Understanding how curriculum should be designed,
Paper developed, and taught is evidence of my knowledge of
content and structure of teaching.
Sequencing Map and Graphic organizers are used regularly in my classroom,
Theme Graphic Organizer some of which I create myself to ensure that students
understand content.
Math Exit Ticket I utilize exit tickets for math sometimes as supplemental to
the curriculum content to ensure that students understand
content prior to tests.

Throughout the year I have attended all the math and ELA professional trainings for new
teachers, and I have expanded my knowledge of the curriculum within the classroom. My
knowledge of the content and pedagogy has been expanded immensely through the courses
I have taken at UNLV finishing my M.Ed, and I have implemented some of those strategies
within my own pedagogy. As a second-year teacher I feel I have truly developed the
knowledge needed to implement effective teaching strategies within my own classroom.
