SPRING BIRD CENSUS - 2020

Again this year, seeking to create a more complete picture of the great variety of birds which can be
seen in our area, North Country Bird Club will conduct a Spring Bird Census, a combined effort of
members and other interested birders to survey the bird life in our area during the spring season. The
Census will extend from March 19 (the Spring Equinox) through June 19. Please use the following
procedure to record your sightings in the species list which follows:
Enter 1 in the blank for any species sighted only between March 19 and April 30.
Enter 2 in the blank for any species sighted only between May 1 and June 19.
Enter 12 in the blank for species which are sighted both before and on or after May 1.
If species not included in the list are sighted, record those species below (please also note 1, 2, or 12.)
