TELEPHONE

In 1871, Bell started working on the harmonic telegraph — a device that

allowed multiple messages to be transmitted over a wire at the same time.
While trying to perfect this technology, which was backed by a group of
investors, Bell became preoccupied with finding a way to transmit human
voice over wires.

By 1875, Bell, with the help of his partner Thomas Watson, had come up with
a simple receiver that could turn electricity into sound.

In 1875, Bell received a patent for his multiple telegraph while continuing to
perfect his telephone idea. The break came by accident after Bell spilled acid
on his clothing while testing the circuits. ... I need you!” Bell discovered that
the receiver could both send and receive voice messages using electricity

Other scientists, including Antonio Meucci and Elisha Gray, were working on
similar technologies, and there’s some debate over who should be credited
with the invention of the telephone. It’s said that Bell raced to the patent
office to be the first to secure the rights to the discovery.

On March 7, 1876, Bell was granted his telephone patent. A few days later,
he made the first-ever telephone call to Watson, allegedly uttering the now-
famous phrase, “Mr. Watson, come here. I want you.”

By 1877, the Bell Telephone Company, which today is known as AT&T, was
created. In 1915, Bell made the first transcontinental phone call to Watson
from New York to San Francisco.

Alexander Graham Bell, best known for his invention of the telephone,
revolutionized communication as we know it. His interest in sound
technology was deep-rooted and personal, as both his wife and mother were
deaf. While there’s some controversy over whether Bell was the true pioneer
of the telephone, he secured exclusive rights to the technology and launched
the Bell Telephone Company in 1877. Ultimately, the talented scientist held
more than 18 patents for his inventions and work in communications.

Alexander Graham Bell is most well known for inventing the telephone. He
came to the U.S as a teacher of the deaf, and conceived the idea of
"electronic speech" while visiting his hearing-impaired mother in Canada. ...
When he was eleven, Bell invented a machine that could clean wheat.

The telephone came about because they were trying to improve the
capabilities of the telegraph. After the telephone was invented, wealthy
individuals and large corporations primarily used it as a means of
communications between specific locations.

MOBILE PHONE

On the 3rd of April 1973, using this device, Motorola researcher Martin
Cooper made the first mobile telephone call to Dr. Joel S. Engel of Bell Labs.
The DynaTAC 8000X was the first commercial mobile phone! ... The phone
went on sale in 1983 and the first mobile phone call in the UK was made in
1985.

Cooper wanted people to have freedom to talk on the phone away from their
cars. So in reaction, he and Motorola embarked on a project to create a more
portable device. ... Martin Cooper placed what's recognized as the first public
cell phone call in New York City in 1973.

The impact of the invention in the society( positive and negative).

The positive impact or advantages of mobile phone we able to communicate

easier with our friends, family, relatives unlike in the past. Upgrading of
mobile phones helps student for their projects, assignments, research

distraction in classrooms, drivers on the road and we can be addicted to it.
Mobile phones also disconnect is from social world. It also affect our health
because we already addictive to it such as playing games our life span was
decreasing.

3.
If the invention didnt made. Our life now is the same in 19th century.
Maybe the way we communicate to others is sending letters in long distance
that take took long time before they read it. Our life is not easier than now.
