Get medical attention if symptoms appear.

5 FIRE FIGHTING MEASURES

Extinguishing Media

Suitable Use dry chemical or CO2.

Not suitable Do not use water jet.

Special exposure hazards Carbon oxides (CO, CO2), metallic oxides (CaO, ZnO). When heated

to decomposition it emits toxic fumes.

Fire And Explosion Hazard Remove from exposure area to fresh air immediately. Perform artificial

respiration if necessary. Maintain airway, blood pressure and respiration.

Firefighting May be combustible at high temperature. Dust can combine with air to

form an explosive mixture. Fire fighters should wear proper protective equipment. A self contained

breathing apparatus should be used to avoid inhalation of the product.

6 ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES

Personal precautions Protective clothing. Gloves (impervious). Boots. Wear appropriate

respirator when ventilation is inadequate. Do not breathe dust.

8 EXPOSURE CONTROLS / PERSONAL PROTECTION

Exposure Limits

Chemical name Occupational Exposure Limits

Mixed Metals Stabilizer OEL:15 (mg/m³) TURKEY

OEL:10 (mg/m³) BELGIUM

OEL:10 (mg/m³) FRANCE

OEL:10 (mg/m³) SPAIN

Occupational exposure controls :

Engineering measures Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation, or other engineering

controls to keep airborne levels below recommended exposure limits. If user operations generate dust,

fume or mist, use ventilation to keep exposure to airborne contaminants below the exposure limit.

Personal Protection :

Respiratory Protection Wear appropriate respirator when ventilation is inadequate. Seek

professional advice prior to respirator selection and use.

Hand Protection Protective gloves are not required but recommended.

Eye Protection Employee must wear splash-proof or dust-resistant safety goggles to

prevent eye contact with this substance.

Skin Protection Protective clothing not required. Avoid repeated or prolonged contact

with this substance.

For firefighting and other immediately dangerous to life or health conditions

Any self-contained breathing apparatus that has a full facepiece and is operated in a pressure-demand

or other positive-pressure mode. Any supplied-air respirator that has a full facepiece and is operated in
