Scope and Limitation of the study

The study of the Marshy ni Momshie S’more business was limited to Liceo di San

Lorenzo and was based on management, marketing, technical, socio-economic and financial

aspects of business. Students and teachers will be covered as the respondents. The product will

be spread out through direct selling.

Significance of the Study

This section provides a brief description on the various significances of the study given.

To the customers- they will be benefit because the study is made for them and they will know

that when they buy this product it is worth the price.

To the researchers- this study will help them to increase their knowledge and ideas about reality

of life especially when you are involved in the field of business.

To the suppliers- this study can help them in their business and to produce more ingredients of

S’mores.

This study gives knowledge to consumers that this product will be beneficial for them

because it will leads them to have energy for the whole day.

Furthermore, this study is also a benefit for those who have grocery suppliers because

they will help the people who would want to create a S’mores business.

Definition of Terms
For a better Comprehension on this Feasibility study, the following definition of terms

are provided:

 Capitalization- the monetary contribution of each partner in starting up a

business.

 Demand- refers to the quantity of goods does a buyer is willing to buy at a given

price.

 Income Statement- type of financial statement that shows the annual sales of the

Business with its expenses incurred for the whole year.

 Management- the overall organizational structure of a certain business.

 Marketing strategy- a series of marketing activities that an organization do to

acquire customers.

 Structured questionnaire- a written instrument used in gathering information

through survey.

 Chocolate- is a typically sweet, usually brown food preparations of Theobroma

cacao seeds, roasted and Ground.

 Marshmallow- is a sugar-based confectionery that in its modern form typically

consists of sugar, water, and gelatin whipped to a squishy consistency

 Graham Cracker- is a type of cracker confectionery with usually sweetened

with honey.

 S’mores- a S’more is a traditional nighttime campfire treat popular in the United

States and Canada, consisting of fire roasted marshmallow and a layer of

chocolate sandwiched between two pieces of graham crackers

Chapter II

Methodology
This chapter describes and discusses how the researcher gather the necessary data and

information that will be used in the entire study. It describes who will be the respondents and

focus of the research. This also shows the procedure of source of data and methods of collecting

data; this chapters also discuss the type of research, research design, and research locale where

the study will be conducted and description of our product and the outlook of the industry and

the size of the industry, target market, market segmentation and presentation, in marketing and

sales activities, detailed of our product and service description that we will going to apply in our

business and the competition in the market.

Research Design

Descriptive design was the design used by the researchers. By the use of giving survey

question and oral interview to those student who bought their product they will identify if their

product is suitable for the buyers or not. The survey questions guide the researchers to know the

response of their chosen respondents from Liceo di San Lorenzo. Setting a questionnaire or an

interview was important because it helped for the seller to know the feedback of their customers.

Besides, interview were conducted eight existing business organizer who sell marshmallow that

gives us idea or information on how the seller must be innovative, risk taker, responsible,

persistent, and etc. in terms of their business.

Research Locale
This study conducted the survey to the students of Liceo di San Lorenzo, and the

implementation of ‘Marshy ni Momshie’ S’mores business.

Respondents
There was a possibility that there was a large number of customer so that the researchers

got at least 90 respondents from identified research locale. Respondents identified immediately

after they have shown interest in buying S’mores of Marshy ni Momshie.

Sources and Methods of Collecting Data

The researchers gathered data through primary data. We choose students in different

High School Department to have more respondents. By giving questionnaires to selected

students in Liceo di San Lorenzo, we may know what their will be feedback about our product.
