PROGRAM OBJECTIVES
1. To assist students with the innovation and updated information in sugarcane production and manufacturing;

4. To train students to become competent sugar technologist who will provide opportunities for employment and development toward sustainable agricultural countryside;
5. To produce graduates with excellent managerial competence in sugar industries and distilleries in the country and abroad;
6. To equip students with entrepreneurial competence for self-empowerment;
7. To establish close coordination with allied courses and linkages with the government and industries that will cater and enhance the productivity, mindset and knowledge
of the students.
IV. COURSE DESCRIPTION : Is an introductory course in Biology which covers such topics as fundamental issues as meanings and origin of life, the evolution of
life, the physiology, taxonomy and ecology of organisms, it also deals with comprehensive study of plants and of the human organ system and
heredity.
