FUSELAGE

It’s central position of the body of the airplane ,designed to accommodate

the crew, passenger and Cargo. It’s varies greatly in design and size
according to the function of the aircraft. In a jet flighter the fuselage
consist of a cockpit large enough only for the control and pilot. But in jet
airline it includes a much large cockpit as well as cabin that has separate
the decks for passager and cargo. The predominant type of fuselage
structure are monocoque(i.e.,kind of construction in which the outer skin
bears a major parts or all the stresses) and semumonocoque.These
structures provides better strength to weight ratio for the fuselage
covering than the truss -type construction used in earlier planes.
