THE ANALYSIS OF MEG MURRY IN A WINKLE IN TIME

Meg murry is the main character in “A Wrinke In Time”.

She must overcome her insecurities to travel to a distant
world to find her father and escape back home to planet
earth. She has strong conviction. She cares with her family
and she sacrifice her safety for her family.

A. Meg’s personality

Personality is a characteristic way of thinking,

feeling, and behaving. We get to know the personality
character in the stories through the thing they say, feel,
and do. Meg is a teen girl and the oldest of four
siblings. Her figure is gangly and her hair is stringy, she
wears both braces and glasses. Moreover, she has
quick temper that marks her as unfeminine.

She loves math and science. Meg's father taught

her all sorts of mathematical tricks before he
disappeared. Unsurprisingly, math is her favorite school

 subject, and she can even help older students with their
math homework.
She has some personalities in the story. Some of
the most outstanding personality are that she is
stubborn, impatient, and loving.

1. She has stubborn personality ini the story, her stubborn

personalitie are when she given counsel from the
principal and when asked by his mother to apologize to
her principal and to his friend whom he wronged.
a. When she called into the principal's office for
questioning in regard to his recent inconsiderate behavior,
she always replied that what he had done was right, he
continued to defend his innocence.
b. When she counseled by her mother to make amends
for the principal and her friends because she had been
unkind to them, and again she insisted that she had done no
wrong.

2. Loves her family

She loves her family. It is seen when she lost her father
and when treating his little brother.

a. When she lost her father, she afraid that she will lost
her father forever. She loves her family very much. Then
she try hard to protect them. She did not think of herself
anymore. She just wanted to find him.

 b. When she was treating his younger brother. She
loves his brother so much, she always talks softly to him,
protect from his friends who tried to humiliate him.

3. Impatient

She has impatient personalities in the story. Her

imptient personalitie are when she attacked her friend who
mocked her and when a man took his little brother.

a. When at school during exercise hours. A friend tried

to bullying her, she got upset then she thrown a basketball
at her friend until she falls over.

b. When a dangerous man took his brother away, she

tried to save him, she got angry at anyone who tried to
stand in his way to save him.

Meg has protagonist round personality. She is

sacrificed her safety to save his family. She didn't care when
people considered him bad, she do what she think is right to
do, she don't want her pride and her family trampled on by
others.
