TIME DOES NOT COUNT

“I will definitely forget everything after I choose myself” She said to herself . It is a very bright day and a sign to have a
kick start but, sadly she is too tired and exhausted due to a plenty of school works. Andrea a 19-years old college student is
currently having a hard time to adjust to her new environment due to a sudden decision she needs to do, she needs to have her
own life in a very young age because her deceased parents left her nothing but, she manage to study in college with a help of
scholarship and part-time job. In 4 years she graduated in time with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Psychology and luckily
passed her psychometrician exam and have her license. The past years of her life was full of unending problem and trouble but,
she succeeded with the help of her love one.
Andrea and her long time boyfriend Carlo experienced the best and worst situation together, their economic statuses are
far from the reality but, it doesn’t hindrance them from being together through ups and downs. They had their best of times when
they graduated together , “It’s the time for you to meet my family. My mom cooked the dinner tonight lets come home” Carlo
said while driving home from their oath taking, their relationship were hidden because Carlo’s family sets too high standards for
their child’s partner which led to hide their relationship to public.
The meet and greet that where used to happen years ago went well, his parents are happy to have her in the family as well
as his two siblings, expectedly his parents ask some about her family and she obliged answer the truth and the amusement where
seen in their face due to her situation in the passed year she survived and become successful.
Andrea and Carlo started working with different companies which makes their time more complicated because their
office are too far and they can’t manage to see each other everyday due to that they see each other on limited time despite of that
they communicate always they call and text each other and the distance doesn’t interfere their love to each other.
The couple build a strong relationship and trust through the years they spend together and that makes them too sure of
their life that after they save enough money they start their family in a marriage life, it is planned beforehand so they are working
on it but, suddenly Carlo’s mother got sick and he needs to accompany her to America, the decision were very quick , Carlo and
her mother fly to America for better treatment .
The first two months is bearable to consider, Carlo got his job their as he accompany her mother they talked to each other
so often because of different time in case of that Andrea had a hard time adjusting waking up in the midnight just to greet him
‘good morning’ but, she suddenly get used to it, after 6 months of being away there was a big difference in them Carlo and his
mother went home and the medication was successful.
Andrea is too excited to be with him again so she requested for her leave, they spent a bond together and Andrea started
to talked about their plans, “We should not rush our self Andrea, we are too young” Carlo said . Andrea seems weary after that
because they planned to get married at 25 because that was planned before but, she understand that maybe Carlo needs more time
being a gentleman. One morning while Carlo are sleeping Andrea looks for his phone to take him a shot but, suddenly someone
appeared in the screen “hey I just got boarded, when will me meet” the text says she was too conscious so she called “Good
morning Hon, lets meet today!” the other line seems so happy but Andrea started to burst in tear so, after all she was betrayed .
Andrea was too weak to fight so she just wait until Carlo is awaken “what’s the breakfast love?” Carlo said she just
shook and cry as she saw his face remembering what the other line says. Carlo went to her and hugged her, she cried because will
be their last time together “why” Andrea just hug him tighter and whispered “someone is waiting for you, she just got landed
here , she might wait so go to her” Carlo’s eyes widened same as Andrea shackles off his hugged “Carlo be happy with her,
maybe you choose her cause I lack on something , I will not fight back cause I love you and your happiness is mine too. Lets not
just meet each other again and I’m fine with that”she said “Andrea wait! Let me explain!” He said.
Andrea is hurt as hell but, what can she do? She needs to accept that she is not enough for him and the fact that they
spend the half of their life is not enough. She worked hard but, the thought of him never leave her mind cause of her every night
cry off , he tries to reconnect with her friends but, even her friends doesn’t know what happened. Andrea become a workaholic,
she went early in the morning and come home late but, it bear because she is appointed to become permanent employee in
Canada which offers her to lived their for good.
Andrea was in hesitant to decide because she hears some rumors that Carlo lose his job after their break up but, she
thinks too that it is his life and she is not responsible for that and at once she visited him . He looks very untidy because of his
beard, they talk and took some closure before she leave him for good. “May you find your real contentment Carlo, Thank you for
everything and Lets meet again if we can. Goodbye” she said
Andrea walk in tears , her heart is in despair but, she needs to let go of his temporary life with him . He choose to let me
go that easily and picked some temporary happiness same as go she is but, the difference is she picked the permanent happiness
that will give her a good and better life.
Before leaving the country she manage to meet with her friends and bid a better goodbye and with that get together she
always said that “I will definitely forget everything after I choose myself” and with that she is sure that even though time runs
and moments were collected the fact that trust and contentment is the key to have a better one it is useless
