INTRODUCTION:

This project is aimed to develop a web based application for the “School
Management System”. This project will handle whole the activities of the school
Management System has most of the facilities that a modern school requires to
computerize its day-to-day jobs. It provides facilities to keep the records of
student, teaching and non-teaching staff, Examination.

.OBJECTIVES OF THE PROJECT

The main objective of this project is to computerize the manual system & reduce
the time consumption.

 Make all the system computerize

 All system managements are automated

 No paper work requirement

 Reduce error scope

 Centralized database management

EXISTING SYSTEM

 Time consuming

 Not accurate

 Large amounts of records are to be kept

  Complicated procedure

 May not complete in time

 Paper work is very tedious

 All the registers are kept for a long period

 Searching for a file or record is very difficult

PROPOSED SYSTEM

The proposed system is intended to avoid all the drawbacks of existing system.
It will add some more features than the existing system. The proposed system is a
cost effective way of doing the manual processes done in the existing system. This
helps the organization to win the war in the existing competitive world. The
proposed system is intended to do the following:

 Prepare and produce accurate outputs

 Reduce the time needed

 Make information flow efficient

 Easy report generation

 Attractive user interface.

SCOPE:
School Management System is intended to help any institute that wants to store
their students and management records into the computer. Our website is
specially designed for an educational institute Model school (Haryana).Our
School Management System website will fulfill all the requirement of Model
school. It will store all the personal and academic information of the students.
It will also store the Examination information

Management will get information of any student who studied/studying in this

institute till now easily.

This website will also help the management to store their employees
information including their personal information and salary information. It will
also store the results of the students.
