 CAREER SUMMARY

I have been extensively engaged in Construction, supervision of tunnels of different shapes,

length excavation sizes.
My professional experience also covers monitoring and execution of works as per contract
drawings and specifications, conducting various tests for shotcrete and rock bolts at site,
concrete work & preparation of reports. Work well withcolleague at all level, efficient and
contributive to the overall Quality Assurance.Aware of Project Drawings and Standards.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

969MW NEELUM JHELUM HYDRO POWER PROJECT. PAKISTAN

(9.5) Years working experience as a SITE INSPECTOR in CGGC (China

Gazhouba Group Corporation
969MW Neelum- Jhelum Hydropower Project AJ&K, Pakistan.

 Civil Site Inspector on the ongoing activities of NJ- hydropower project.

 Supervising and execute the preparation of formwork, steel structure
and concreting of 47 m high composite(earth fill and concrete)
underground construction of Power House Foundation[(137.1m
length)*(26m width)*(47m high)] and Transformer hall[(154.27m
length)*(16.8m width)*(20.6m high)] ,underground construction of
offices building, control rooms, Erection bay slabs, Draft tubes,
Penstocks, Bas bars cable tunnel, oil pit and water tanks. Also
supervising the mechanical work of installation of bonneted gates and
fixing of turbines in power house.
 I have also worked as a Tunnel Quality Inspector on 32km long
stretches of headrace tunnel, 5.6km tailrace tunnel, 400m penstocks
tunnels, 748m surge tunnel, 3km two access twin tunnels excavated
across a 10.7m diameter. My reasonability’s are to execute and
supervise the tunnel excavation alignment, marking and drilling,
charging of explosive material, blasting, ventilation, mucking, scaling,

 geological face mapping, probe hole drilling for rock support evaluation
by using Q-system,1st layer shotcrete(plain or fire reinforced) by
shotcrete jumbo, installation of rock bolt, steel ribs or installation of bar
anchor or strained anchor and lattice girder in week zone, wire
mashing, and then 2nd layer shotcrete and finally concrete lining of
underground Power house, transformer hall, penstocks, draft tubes,
bus bars tunnel, tailrace tunnel, headrace tunnel, adit tunnels, cable
tunnels, access tunnels, surge tunnel, bypass tunnel, headrace surge
branch tunnel, drainage gallery, drainage adit, water tanks according
to drawing provided. Also install a extensometer that analysis and
record the convergence, deformation and settlement of tunnel with
time being.
 Also have responsibility to execute the geotechnical field and lab test
like pull out test, shotcrete bond test, shotcrete thickness test, Packer
test , Borehole Permeability Testing, Pumping tests, Shear test, ,
Geological & Geothermal prospecting and rock bed level, Field Density
test, Sand Equivalent, Los Angeles’ Abrasion, Crushing value, Specific
gravity test, Sedimentation of Grout, Sieve analysis of coarse & fine
aggregate, Sieve analysis of soil, Unit weight test, Compressive
strength test for shotcrete cores & grout cube, Concrete trial mix
design test.
 Also have a working experience on measureable BOQ and calculation
of quantities of steel, concrete, shotcrete, rock bolts, wire mesh,
formwork, according to the drawing specifications.
 Coordinate with sub engineers, surveyors, foreman and labors to
develop the `strategy of work.
 Making the monthly work progress report in accordance with the
scheduled activities.
 Inspection of Coffer Dam.Inspection of internal road work

  Inspection of earth work, stone pitching ,Loose Stone Apron,Concrete Blocks
and concrete for protection work at Kaitu River

Conduct all type of tunnel tests including:

 Bond test, thickness test, core test, rebound test, pull out test of grouted and un-
grouted rock bolts and paper work for above mentioned tests.

 Responsible for the preparation of various quantity requests of tunnel work
