INSTRUCTIONS TO COMPLETING THE POA FOR SED

1) Purpose:
The purpose of the Federal Express Power of Attorney to Transmit Shippers Export
Declaration Information is to provide Federal Express Corporation (FedEx) with the
authority to file or transmit SED data on behalf of the U.S. Principal Party in Interest.
Benefits include a faster transaction time.

2) Instructions:
Complete the enclosed form, sign, date and send it to the address below. At the bottom
of the form, enter all applicable FedEx account numbers; use a separate sheet if
necessary.

3) Definitions:
USPPI: United States Principal Party in Interest is the person or company in the U.S. that
receives the primary benefit, monetary or otherwise, of the export transaction. Generally
that person/company is the U.S. seller, manufacturer, or order party.

4) Who can sign the Power of Attorney (POA) for SED:


Only an officer of the corporation may sign the POA for SED (e.g. secretary/treasurer of
the corporation, controller, owner, partner, Vice President or higher).

5) How to send it to FedEx:

6) What happens next:


Once we receive the POA for SED, we will update the FedEx shipping systems and you
will not have to authorize FedEx to be your agent for each shipping transaction when an
SED is required. The update will generally be effective within 48 hours of receiving your
letter.

control and customs purposes to sign any Shipper’s Export Declaration (SED), or
transmit such export information electronically, which may be required by law or
regulations in connection with the exportation or transportation of any merchandise on
behalf of said USPPI.

The USPPI hereby certifies that all necessary and proper information or documentation to
accurately transmit the SED information will be provided to FedEx and is true and
correct.

Furthermore, the USPPI understands that civil and criminal penalties may be imposed for
making false or fraudulent statements or for the violation of any United States laws or
regulations on exportation. The USPPI agrees to be bound by and liable for all statements
of FedEx on behalf of USPPI based upon information or documentation provided by the
USPPI to FedEx.

This power of attorney (POA) is to remain in full force and effect until revocation in
writing is duly given by the USPPI or FedEx and received by the other party.
