o Senior project in which I volunteered at the animal hospital for more than 70
hours in a span of four weeks.
 Food Bank for MLK Day 9-10
o Volunteering during Newark Academy day of giving by boxing and packing food
donated to the food bank
 Newark Academy Holiday Party 9-10
o Annual holiday event in which volunteers from Newark Academy entertain a
large number of guests from the Apostles House.
 Sandy Hook Beach Cleanup 10
o Clean Ocean Action sponsored event for volunteers to clean litter from beach.

 Trail Maintenance 9-12


o Newark Academy sponsored event for students to volunteer to clean public trails.
 Bridges Run 10
o Project in which students created care packages for the homeless and then
traveled to an area setup where they passed out these care packages along with
other supplies.
 AISAP School Fair and Expo 10-11
o Students helped setup and guide parents and their children around Newark
Academy at the expo.
 Passaic River Cleanup 9
o Students tasked with cleaning up the illegal dump sites at the Passaic river.
 KRS Planting 11
o Event where students volunteered to plant hundreds of flowers at a preschool.
 Teacher Assistant 12
o Assisted the community service director of NA by organizing schedules, taking
inventory, and running errands.
 Concession Stand Cleanup 12
o Students volunteered to clean and organize Newark Academy's concession stand
for more efficient use in the future.
