Elected to lead and grow Troop 457 throughout Covid-19. Moved meetings
online and added more interactive online activities.

Elected by Troop 457 to work with other regional troops. Worked with other
OA members and planned Camporee, a huge scout gathering.  Lead OA elections
for regional scout positions. 

Eagle Scout                                                                                                 10
Achieved Eagle Scout at 15 by earning 25 merit badges, 1 Eagle Scout
community project for the VFW, 180 service hours, 140 miles hiked, 2 terms
as Assistant Patrol Leader and Senior Patrol Leader, and 57 camping nights. 

Camporee Campfire Director                                                                      10


Planned and led a campfire event for 200 scouts. Master of ceremonies for the
entire event. Set up AV equipment, delivered fuel for three large fires, and
performed group check-ins to encourage and brainstorm skits.

National Boy Scouts Youth Leadership Training 9


Six-day training class through Boy Scouts that teaches leadership skills
through activities, challenges, discussions, and adventures. 

Community Service
Swim Across America Fundraiser 9-12
Worked in the food kitchen for over 450 swimmers each year
Performed kitchen setup, food prep, handout of food, and event cleanup.

Eagle Scout Project                                                                                    11


I planned and organized schedules, ordered mulch/gravel, coordinated delivery
of supplies. Led 28 scouts over 2 weekends to lay gravel and mulch, removed
blackberries, and replaced walking paths at VFW Post 5760. 

Scouting Food Drive                                                                                    10


Door to door collection of food after dropping off flyers the previous week,
sorted over 2 tons of food and delivered everything to Hopelink. 

Voice Leadership Initiative 9


Participated in 9 community events, including food drives, 4 EarthCorps events,
served food at homeless shelters, Farmers Market volunteer, and filmed 2 public
awareness videos on homelessness and disability access.   

Activities
American University International Studies Summer Program 12
Three-week in-person program at American University in Washington DC.
Toured DC and learned about international politics. 

Advanced Washington Business Week                                                11


Advanced program at WBW focused on business planning, entrepreneurship,
risk-taking, and communications. Achieved most successful company in a
market simulation.

50-Mile Philmont Hike                                                                    11
New Mexico 7 day hike covering 50 miles of rugged terrain. Excellent team
building and goal-oriented trip.  

Washington Business Week                                                                         10


A dynamic simulation where attendees participate as industry professionals
by launching a company and solving real-world challenges. Won first place in
the shareholder presentations. 

Athletics
Crystal Mountain Free Ride                                                                         8-12
  6-week program where Mercer Island High School charters 5 buses per week
for 180 students. Skiing with friends across Double Black and Black runs, and
backcountry skiing for fresh powder.

Mercer Island High School Ultimate Frisbee 10-12


Highly competitive club sport across Washington State with conference, district,
and state championships.
