I. GENERAL DESCRIPTION

A. PROJECT/BUSINESS TITLE: CONSTRUCTION OF CLASSIC VILAMADEZ RESORT

B. LOCATION

Construction of VILMADEZ classic resort will be located at Brgy. San Manuel, Quezon,

Nueva Ecija. The land that will be used on the project will be purchased by Ronnel P. Malong,

Michael John M. Villones and Jeffrey M. Valdez. The place will be developed and reformed into

an area perfect for resort construction. It is a tree crowded site where fresh air and pleasing

environment will be found. Serving as comfortable refuge - accompanied by birds singing all-the

-day and sunset spreading its golden beauty- is its significant role in the community. The place

promotes simple yet attractive environment accurate for relaxation. Although it is not a home for

much establishments, the resort that will be build is a key for being well-known and possibly

become a tourists spot.

C. BENEFICIARIES

The business will give job opportunity for the residence of San Manuel, Quezon, Nueva

Ecija and nearby barangays. Workers of all kind will receive fair amount of pay which will build

their loyalty and better performance in doing their tasks. Criteria for picking-up employee are

based on their personality toward works, skills and abilities.

Mr. Malong, Mr. Villones and Mr. Valdez as well as other business owners will benefit

from the project as there will be many tourists that will give numerous and regular profit. Most

likely, the whole community of San Manuel will be developed and possibly become a home for

tourist attraction which will raise not just prosperous living but also the capacity to handle

different kind of working businesses.

D. SOURCE OF FUND

Capital of the business will be obtained through the shares of Mr. Malong, Mr. Villones and

Mr. Valdez. They will be the managers who will run the business and will transact to different

investor companies in order to have a greater money to be used on the building and

implementing of the resort. The facilities and stores inside the resort will be build up by partners

companies.

E. BUDGETARY REQUIREMENTS

The total amount of budgetary requirements needed to build VILMADEZ resort will be

approximately 2.7 million pesos. These include the land, pools, cottages, houses, slides, boats,

bikes, constructions, obstacles and other expenses. Afterwards, monthly budget requirements for

business will possibly 304, 000 including the water, services, electricity, workers salary and

expenses.

II. RATIONALE

Resort is a place that is popular destination for vacations or recreation, or which is frequent

for particular purpose. It comprises of pools, slides, cottages and other facilities that can entertain

people. Resort business produce money in large amount yet large amount of money is being

spend in its production and implementation. Despite of being in line with gamble, resort plays

significant roles in accelerating economic growth of the country.

Resort constru ction can be considered as double edged sword. The first edge can cut

through poverty because there will offer employment on the people placed on poverty line. The

second edge may cause a severe wound on businessman because of large money spend for

construction has really no particular direction and may even cause loss.

In the Philippines, specifically in Nueva Ecija, resorts were scattered anywhere. They depict

different themes which express managers various perspective toward pleasing environment.

Themes also show human imagination and creativity through improved induction of reality using

architectural styles. However, being too focused on the design sometimes become a blind fold on

businessman that hinders looking on other factors must be considered. Lack of cleanliness,

affordability and security are usually prominent problems found through rigorous observation. In

such way, accidents and promlem on customer preference may triggered on business loss and

overall reduction on economic contribution of resort business.

In this project, owners critically conduct researches, observation and analysis on the

location, customers and competitors on the business. Cleanliness, security and uniqueness are the

factors considered not being sacrificed the affordability of entrance fee. Promotion of pleasing

classic environment were utilized as a theme, and fair treatments on employees and customers

will be ,mproliferated.

III. OBJECTIVES

A. GENERAL OBJECTIVES

The project has a general objective of building a classic resort that is affordable by

average member of the society.

Specifically, the objectives of the study are the following:

1. Offer a permanent and regular job for the residence of Quezon.

2. Become highly recommended yet affordable resort on Nueva Ecija.

3. Become a livelihood and permanent business that will provides needs and serve as source of

income of investors.

4. Provide safeties and security on costumers.

5. Promote clean and classic eco-friendly resort style.

IV. PROJECT DESCRIPTIONS

Vilmadez Resort is 2.5 hectares classic type resort depicting pleasing environment

appropriate for relaxatio. It is a start-up business that will be built at San Manuel, Quezon, Nueva

Ecija. The result of partnership of Mr. Malong, Mr. Villones, and Mr. Valdez with the help of

various investors and other business man. Success of business will depends on the output as well

as on the features specified below.

A. UNIQUE SLIDES

A 100 pesos unlimited slides that will give unforgettable happiness on customers. The

resort is composed of a unique slides: round slide and long slide. The first slide brought greatest

adventure as the experience it gives make customers realized enjoyment of living.

The second slide is a long run, giving a chance to wonder around the resort in a spot. The

thrilling slide makes customers filled with frequent enjoyment obtained from fearsome

experience.

B. PARK

A park will serve as a free space covered with Bermuda grass and architecturally

designed with attractive ornamentals such as plants and statue. It is where lovers, family, and

peers can freely walk, sit or even lay without any distraction. It is perfect especially if the

customers want peace of mind.

C. BIKING

Riding with bicycles is one of unique resort features available for only 50 pesos/ hour.

Bicycles are quality assured maintaining the safeness of riders. Together with love ones riding

freely and happy moments are the best services it offers

D. KAYAKING

Kayak is a perfect activity for resting or having moments on the center of mass water

areas. It is far from world’s problems making customers think and feel only the enjoyment of life

for only 100 pesos / hour.

E. OBSTACLE COURSES

These actives will give chance for brave customers to test their courage with a frightening

but safe obstacles. It is an end-to-end the obstacles in which someone who failed will be drop on

water field. Customers who attain success by passing the obstacles without failure will receive

exciting prizes. This one is a free activities. Aside from unique features, the following are the

other specification of business.

F. TREE HOUSES, TREE COTTAGES, AND SIMPLE COTTAGES

Tree houses are facilities for those customers preferred to have sleep over for 2000

pesos/night, tree cottages will serve as rest area for 1000 pesos while simple cottages will be

avail for 500 pesos. All of these facilities worth exemplar recognition as these can provide

delighted feeling that customers will never denied.

VI. PLAN OF ACTIVITIES

A. PRE-IMPLEMENTING

● Project design

Since the design of the project is classic, we will hire Ryan Norris P. Garcia,

Environmental Science Architect, to ensure accuracy of style and avoid violation on

environmental laws.

● Site development

The site where the resort will be build is originally composed of water lilies and mainly

covered with water. This will be developed by putting mass of soil where facilities will be placed

while leaving space for the pools and lakes. Land will be flattened and are then ready for

construction.

● Purchasing raw materials

Raw materials that will be used on construction will be purchased on hardware business

of John Carlo C. Castro. Materials are strictly identified based on their quality, ease of availment,

and affordability.

● Hiring construction workers and resort construction

Twenty construction workers will be hired from San Manuel, Quezon, Nueva Ecija and

Gen. Luna, Sto. Domingo, Nueva Ecija. Time frame of working will be two months and each

worker will receive 400 pesos per day. Workers will be hired based on their experiences and

skills.

● Constructing facilities and rides

Facilities that will be build inside the resorts are obstacles, tree houses, cottages and other

buildings such as stores or shops. Workers that will be hired will be selected from previous resort

workers but are lessen in numbers. In constructing obstacles, 20 000 pesos will be alloted, 45

000 pesos for tree house and 40 000 for cottages. Other buildings will be constructed by partner

businesses. On the other hand, 200 000 pesos will be alloted for construction of slide and 5 000

pesos for boat.

B. IMPLEMENTING STAGE

● Businesses management

Management will be the job of Mr. Malong, Mr. Villones, and Mr. Valdez who are the

owners of resort having the greatest contributions. Upon managing, various strategies will be

utilized in order to handle different kinds of customers. Managers will also adapt into different

working environment and will formulate appropriate solution on existing problems. Right

decisions on every business stage will be monitored and will be strictly implemented. Outflow

and inflow of every cents will be watched and balance of expenses and income will be

maintained. In order to manage the resort properly following segments must move.

 Security management

Security on the resort will be assured by 3 security guards equipped not just with needed

skills but also with proper knowledges. Their main objectives is protecting employees and

customers in the resort.

 Cleanliness management

In mainting cleanliness, 5 janitors with natural love and care not on salary but with their

work will remove all unnecessary dirts on the resrot. They will clean the resort as clean as they

can and will maintain its purity.

 Safety management

In terms of safety, 5 life guards are on action. Each of them posses basic and extreme

swimming skills that will enable them save customers in a perfect time. Most of all, their mental

ability will be trained for them to response immediately on times of emergency without

hesitation or panic.

 Money management

Management of money in simple terms will be done be 2 cashiers. Even they are not

numerous in number, their mathemetical and logical skills will be enough to control customers

and money in large size. Cashiers will pass through an examination in which ability to respond

correctly and immediately will be tested.

B. ADVERTISEMENTS

Advent of advance technology made a significant role on accelerating business growth.

With these as medium, VILMADEZ resort will be have a clear way toward summit of success.

Through social media such as facebook, twitter and instagram, detailed information about the

resort will become accessible. In such way, the business is possibly may become celebrated on

larger scope.

In addition on online advertisements, revolving around Quezon and Sto. Domingo to

spread flyers will be a way to attract nearby districts to have a taste on the resort.

C. BUSINESS CONTRACTUAL

Business establisments such as restaurants, hotels and other facilities are variable in a

successful resort. In VILMADEZ resort, negotiation and contructual will be used as strategy to

involve market business.

Establishments will be build and manage by owners who will give 5% of their gross

income every month as a rent payment for land. This is a significant business strategy in which

Supposed that the customer’s everyday is 20 person and will spend money assumed by

the table above then: 1000 X 30 X 20 = 600,000 is the assumed monthly gross income of the

business.

B. NET INCOME

Net income is the actual profit after working expences has been removed from gross

income. In order to get the monthly expenses, monthly expenses must be subtracted from

monthly growth income, therefore:

Monthly gross income – Monthly expenses = Montly net income

₱ 600, 000 - ₱ 304, 000 = ₱ 296, 000 is the monthly net income of VILMADEZ resort.

Since the business will use 2, 405, 000 pesos in resort production, money used will be

return on 8-9 months of working business.

Production expenses ÷ Montly net income = Months needed to return money used for production

2, 405, 000 ÷ 296, 000= 8.125 months
