DESCRIPTION
VS series are float level switch which are installed
through the top of the tanks, vessel or pits.
The VS Level switch can be used for control pumps
in emptying or filling process as well as monitoring
of High-High and Low-Low level alarms by one unit
of VS Vertical Float Level Switch.
Maximum up to 10 points level alarms detection is
possible.
The VS Level Switch is available in SS 304, SS316,
PVC, CPVC, PP and PTFE material.

OPERATION PRINCIPLE
The VS Float Level switch operation is based on
a float, permanent magnet and the hermetically
sealed reed switches.
The reed switches are located inside the guide
tube and completely sealed from environment.
A magnet which is built in the float actuates with
its magnetic field, through the wall of the guide
tube ,one or more reed switches.
The signal produced can be used for alarm
indication or for controlling solenoid valve,
pumps and with the volt free reed contacts, the
level switches are an ideal switching element in
connection with PLC Control.
The life expectancy of a reed switch is dependent
on the type of load and can be in the hundreds of
millions of operations.

SWITCH PROTECTION CONTROL UNIT
Vertical Float Level Switch model: VS, Using a Reed switch that operated by the Magnetic system
of Permanent magnet is completely free of wear and tear, as the magnetic field does not become
worn out. As the contact are extremely soft, fatigue fractures do not appear even after 3 x 10 ⁹
switching operations. However, the switching contacts are very sensitive to high current load.
By using the WINGEL Protection Control Unit, the electrical life can be raised.
Wingel have 3 model of Protection Control Unit, model: CU-1, CU-3 and CU-4.
