SEMI-DETAILED LESSON PLAN IN ARTS 10

Time Allotment: 1hour

I. OBJECTIVES
At the end of the lesson, the students are expected to:
 describe the Seat Belts Use Act (RA 8750) and the Anti-Drunk and Drugged
Driving Law (RA 10586)
 identify the aims of the Seat Belts Use Act (RA 8750) and the Anti-Drunk and
Drugged Driving Law (RA 10586)
 appreciate the Seat Belts Use Act (RA 8750) and the Anti-Drunk and Drugged
Driving Law (RA 10586) by performing a skit.

The teacher will ask questions:
 What are the issues that we may encounter on the road?
 How can we avoid road accidents?
 In our city, what are the rules that were mandated in order for us to be safe on the road?
The teacher will then connect the questions asked on the topics to be discussed.
B. Lesson Proper
The teacher will discuss the following:
 Description of the Seat Belts Use Act and the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Law.
 The aims and provisions of the Seat Belts Use Act and the Anti-Drunk and Drugged
Driving Law.
 Penalties and fines for the violators under the Seat Belts Use Act and the Anti-Drunk
and Drugged Driving Law.
C. Generalization
The teacher will ask the students after the discussion. The questions are the
following:

about?

the road safety?
D. Application
The teacher will instruct the students to make a short skit about aims and provisions
of the Seat Belts Use Act and the Anti-Drunk and Drugged Driving Law.

IV. EVALUATION
The teacher will ask a student each group to discuss their short skit.
V. ASSIGNMENT
Write a reflection paper on how can you solve the national health trends, issues and
concern that we are facing right now.
