Senegal deputation.
Financial implications : 6842/- INR (Six thousand eight hundred and forty two rupees
only)
Self was deputed to BHEL Overseas Site, 1X125 MW CES Power plant, Senegal for TG Commissioning supervision
works on 04.04.2019. Deputation was with respect to the approval reference number: AA:HR:FTour1819-184. Self had
requested IO to book the Air tickets from Visakhapatnam to Senegal as I needed to drop my family at Visakhapatnam.
Air tickets from Visakhapatnam to Senegal that was offered by IO did not offer any cushion time for change over at
Dubai (only 1 hour) and hence was not practically feasible. Also air tickets which were to be booked were on the costlier
side. Hence self decided to book Visakhapatnam to Chennai locally as outside the travel package and booked it for an
extra cost of Rs. 6842/-. Though the cost was in addition to the original journey cost of Rs. 1,00,284/- self had gone
ahead for the same taking into consideration the total expenditure to the company which amounts to Rs. 1,07,126/-
which still was lesser than the other options proposed by IO.

Due to urgency and limited time for reaching the connecting flight at Chennai, self had booked the Flight ticket
from Visakhapatnam to Chennai. Air tickets with following details were booked for travelling from Visakhapatnam to
Chennai.
Flight journey charges as follows:
From Visakhapatnam to Chennai flight ticket price was : 4842/- INR
The Extra baggage charges were : 2000/- INR (As the domestic flight allowed
baggage was limited to 15 KG only).
Total : 6842/- INR

In view of the saving that company has experienced on account of the booking, approval for the above Flight journey
may kindly be accorded for settling the TA claim with Site-Finance. GM/TSX may please concur and Competent
Authority may kindly accord approval for the above.
