Blood density = 1125 kg/m3

Vertical height =4m

Pumping pipe size = DN50

Flow rate = 1 lps (corresponds to 0 pressure drop water flow in DN50 pipe), time taken to
empty 50L tank will be around 1 minute.

Required head = 0.44 Bar(only vertical head), lets say total requirement is 3 Bar total head

Required flow rate = Based on flow rate 80 l/min.

Based on curve = Almost 4 bar air pressure required.

Air consumption = Based on 4 Bar air pressure, air consumption will be 15 l/s for each pump

= so total 2700 l/min air consumption for 3 pumps.

Based on received data, air compressor will deliver 486 l/min. so each pump will have 2.7 l/s of air flow
availbalbe. From the pump curve 2.7 l/s at 8 bar air pressure will deliver 80 m
total head and almost 40 l/min of fluid flow. This head could be managed with a
regulating valve. Ie, here pump is oversized rather than compressor is
undersized. 40 l/m means the blood tank will be empt in little more than 1
minute. Could you please varify this..?
