her retinue are said to have taught Tilopā the fifty-first Pat.ala together with the oral


transmission (ed. C , p. : gsungs nas rtsa rgyud le’u nga gcig pa bshad
rgyud dang bcas pa dang snyan rgyud gnang ngo). e rnam thar of Nāropā attributed
to the twelfth-century author lHai’i btsun pa rin chen rnam rgyal says that Nāropā
