III. Focused GAD-based Principle to be Integrated
use gender-responsive language to reflect inclusion
IV. Intended Learning Outcomes
Knowledge discuss Dalton’s atomic theory
Skills identify the important ideas that was included in Dalton’s Atomic
Theory
Attitude display cooperation

Values practice open-mindedness

V. Learning Content/s How the idea of the atom, along with the idea of the
elements evolved?

Concept Dalton developed the atomic theory which has been

widely recognized because it became the foundation of
the modern concept of the atom.

VI. Learning Experiences (5 Es)

1. Engage Recap Activity:
(10 minutes)
Asking somebody from the class to initiate the recap by passing the pack
of candies and by playing the music simultaneously. If the music stops,
the student who are holding the pack of candies will do the recap. The
price is the pack of candy itself.

2. Explore
(10 minutes)
Presenting a Video explaining the contribution of Dalton “The Atomic
Theory of John Dalton” https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJ-
6Qy05u_Q

3. Explain The students will be answer these guide questions which is related to
(8 minutes) the video.
1. What are the importance to know in the Daltons’ Atomic Theory?
2. How did know that the Atom is not same with the other Elements?
3. What are the three things used to evaluate the Properties of Atom?
4. Who is John Dalton?
5. How did the theory of John Dalton on atoms contributed to the
discovery of other elements?

4. Elaborate The students will be ask to arrange the strips of paper which contain the
(5 minutes) information on how did Dalton contributed to the discovery of other
elements.
Dalton developed the atomic theory which has been widely recognized
because it became the foundation of the modern concept of the atom.
Dalton published his atomic theory together with his symbols of
chemical elements in the new system of chemical philosophy.
He developed the law of multiple proportions, which states that atoms
of elements combine in small whole numbers, not in fraction numbers
to form a number of possible compounds.

5. Evaluate PAPET or type of test that suits the mental understanding of the
(15 minutes) students.
Essay:
How did the theory of John Dalton on atoms contributed to the
discovery of other elements?
VII. Learning Enablement
(2 minutes)
1. What are two the polarities of a Molecule Based on its Structure?

Reflection (DepED Order No. 42, s. 2016)

A. No. of learners who earned 80% in the evaluation

B. No. of learners who require additional activities for remediation
C. Did the remedial lessons work?
D. No. of learners who have caught up with the lesson
E. No. of learners who continue to require remediation
F. Which of my learning strategies worked well? Why did these work?
G. What difficulties did I encounter which my principal or supervisor can help me solve?
