After a long wait of 2 weeks, I finally received this FIIO M15 from China to the United States. Before buying, I checked a
lot of information on the website and forum, and the review was good. I bought FIIO's Q5 mobile device DAC one year
ago. It is a Easy to use and powerful mobile device DAC, but it is very bulky when combined with a mobile phone, which
makes it difficult to carry, so I bought this M15.
The sound quality of Q5 and M15 is Not the same level, and the Material quality is also slightly better. Two-way
Bluetooth allows your M15 to play DSD sound sources in the car with Bluetooth connection. The high-power 4.4mm
balanced interface fully drives HD650 without any problems.
The tuning of the M15 is very similar to my friend's SP2000. The hardware also reaches the SP2K level, but the price is
only one-third of the SP2K.
If anyone is hesitant to buy this HI-res player, it is really worth having
the screen protector if for the back Glass surface~!

Expensive, but worth it. The sound is great as you would expect from the high end components, and after 20 or 30 hours
of burn in, it really smooths out with improved, smoother treble response and tighter base. The amp section is where this
truly shines. It has the power to drive most any headphones. My Fostex T50RP Mk3 needed full volume from the FIIO
X5iii to achieve adequate sound. The M15 can drive them on low gain. Switch to hi and the over ear setting, and they can
blast you away. My Sennheiser HD800 with the French mod really shine plugged into the 4.4 balanced. The android
interface works flawlessly even though it is only version 7 (this is a DAP, after all, not a tablet, the Samsung tablet I'm
using to write this is also running version 7). The display at 720 dpi is bright and clear and saves battery over a higher res
screen. The Blutooth 5 is flawless with amazing range. It stayed connected to my Oonz Angle 3 Ultra even after I walked
inside 20 or more feet with the M15 in my pocket. Only two complaints. Wish it had shipped with a case instead of a fancy
walnut box, and wish it had usb3 instead of 2. Definitely flagship worthy, and considering the build, features and sound
quality, worth the price. Only real competition weighs in at twice the price.
