DAY 1
At the industry there is manufacturing of auto parts there we have seen processes & parts there was
the formal no of industry means work instructions for every different process. In which
Tank No 1:

Hot Degrasing its purpose is for cleaning of dust, oil & Material particles.

Authority : powder coating supervisor.

In this tank there is DG-901 names chemical which is used for clean oil Greece dust and oiliness from
the job (iron parts). Temperature of this chemical is 55-60C the point-age of this chemical should be
50-50 ml for which 2.2kg point-age powder should be put in bath to get best chemical.

Tank no 2:
Water rinse its purpose is to clean the chemical. In this tank there is an industrial water the troly of
the material should be put in this tank for 60 second as it cleans the oil and chemical of the job (iron
parts) the PH value of this tank should be 7-9 and the water of this tank should be changed regularly
one time in seven days.
Tank 3:

The purpose of tank three is same as tank two only the difference is that the water should be
changed regularly once in fifteen days.

Tank 4:
Activation the purpose is to remove the acid from part surface. In this tank there is M CHESM S.M
names chemical the material troly should be put in tank for 1-2 minutes because of this it will protect
the job (iron part) being oxidised and keep the job surface active the PH of this tank should be 1-2
range the result of this tank chemical is 0.5%. If it goes below PH 1 then 1kg of chemical should be
added.
Tank 5:

Phosphating its purpose is to remove rust. In this tank there is LP66 named chemical the troly
material should be kept for 8-15 minute in tank its use is to create zinc coating on the tank the point
-age should be in range of 28-32 ml the result of chemical of this tank is 0.5%. The temperature amb
should be 50-55C. For one point- age 5 litre of LP66 and 200g powder should be added. To check
accelerator powder they use starch iodide paper should be used if the powder result is good then
the colour of the paper will be dark blue.

Tank 6:
The purpose of this tank is same as tank 2 and 3 only the difference is that it use to clean chemical
not oil or dust of the job the material troly should be kept in tank for 60 seconds the PH should be in
range of 4-7 the water should be changed same as changing in tank 2 not in tank 3.

Tank 7:
This is the last tank for Passivation its purpose is to create surface finish on part. This tank contains
CHEM PASSI named chemical the troly of the material should be kept in tank for 1 minute it use to
smooth the surface of the job the PH of this tank should be in range of 3-6 if it goes below PH 3 then
3.0 litre of chemical should be added in tank the water of tank should be cleaned once in seven days
the result of this tank chemical is 0.1%.

These were the manufacturing plants of that industry step by step after all this process the job (iron
parts) which has manufactured goes forward for further process like painting packaging etc.
DAY 2 :

PURE GOLD CHEESE FACTORY

For most Mumbaikars including me, Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar are two hill
stations that they have visited multiple times. So why then was I eagerly looking forward to
visiting Panchgani again? The reason was the Pure Gold Cheese Factory- a recent cheese
manufacturing and selling enterprise located in the courtyard of The Paradise Heritage. Here
you can get to see how hard cheese is made from cows’ milk, matured in the ripening room
and then making of cheese spread. I was delighted at having melt in the mouth hot cheese
specially one which I had just seen been freshly prepared in front of me.

They sell variety of cheese including

mozzarella and cheddar and different types of cheese spread which includes cream cheese, smoked
cheddar, pepper jack and more.
There is a lot that you can devour. Including jam, cakes, honey and pizza and of course, cheese. It is
located on mahabaleshwar – panchgani road.
