Table 1 shows the End of School Year enrolment for 2017. With the additional
Grade 11 students with an overall enrolment of 307 students.
B. Comparison of Enrolment
The data shows the percentage of students who leaves after their promotion to the
next year level.
Table 2 shows that in year 2016 to 2017 there was a 16% drop of students because
these students undergone cessation after being promoted from Grade 7 to Grade 8. The
rationale was primarily due to distance from home to school and financial instability of their
parents. As for Grade 10 completers, 60% of the students either went to other schools of
their interest of specialization or stop and went on job hunting.
C. Enrolment for the past 6 Years
Otto Lingue National High School has 6 feeder barangay Elementary Schools
surrounding its topographical location. Barangay Gubac, Lower Sibatang and Deborok in
Pagadian City and Barangay Langapod, Noboran and Cogonan which is part of Labangan,
Zamboanga del Sur. These elementary school contributed a lot to the enrolment of the
school. With their rich culture, they were able to preserve it and share it to the community
and school.
The graph below shows the trend of enrolment of Grade 7 students for the past six
years alongside the number of students retained and conditionally passed.

Table 3 shows the trend of Grade 7 enrolment for six years. An increase of 14 or
about 18% of the enrolment from 2016 to 2017. This is due to scholarship grants offered by
teachers and Barangay Officials, Free Board and Lodging in our Student’s Quarter and
special grants for Valedictorians and Salutatorians in Grade 6, Regional Players and News
Paper Writers.

3. School water supply system
For over 10 years, the Spring Water system initiated by the late former Mayor
Ben Arao which caters potable and safe drinking water is being continuously maintained
by the school with the help of the barangay officials.

IV – Recommendations
School:
1. Profiling of students to identify their basic information.
2. Identify students living outside the 7km radius of the school Site to be catered in
the Students Quarter and students needing financial support.
3. Plan for the beautification and landscaping of school ground.
4. Increase advocacy campaign to increase enrolment in Junior and Senior high.
Division:
1. Request for the immediate repair of the buildings to be used by the students.
2. Since there is no buildable space, requesting the demolition of the old building
and be replaced with 2 storey 8 classroom building.
