SYMPTOMS

All the users are seeing issue while trying to access Journal Templates.

CAUSE

Also, the issue is due to security provisioning for the user.

User did not had access to the security class due to which user was seeing the issue.

Able to reproduce the issue with following. It seems to be a defect.

When Application setting EnableMetadataSecurityFiltering is enabled and the

Journal/Journal Template has atlease one entry for Entities/Account for which
user has no access following error messages are displayed

SOLUTION

As a workaround(till the issue is fixed) you can follow one of the following:

1. Train your users, if they are seeing error massage "EPMHFM-65605: The system was unable to retrieve journal template
details." this means you have no access to Journal/Journal Template
2. Disable "EnableMetadataSecurityFiltering" if Business Allows.
