Amazon.com, Inc, is an American multinational technology company based in


Seattle, Washington that focuses on e-commerce, cloud computing, and artificial
intelligence. It offers a range of products and services through its Websites. With the
measured by revenue and market capitalization, the Amazon is the largest e-commerce
marketplace and cloud computing platform in the world.

Amazon.com was founded by Jeff Bezos on July 5, 1994. It started as an online


bookstore and that expanded to sell video downloads/streaming, MP3
downloads/streaming, audiobook downloads/streaming software, video games,
electronics, apparel, furniture, food, toys, and jewelry. The company also has owns
publishing, Amazon Publishing, a film and television studio, Amazon Studios, produces
consumer electronics lines including Kindle e-readers, Fire tablets, Fire TV, and Echo
devices. It is the world’s largest provider of cloud infrastructure services through its
AWS (Amazon Web Services) subsidiary. For addition information, the AWS is a
subsidiary of Amazon that provides on-demand cloud computing platforms to
individuals, companies and governments, on a metered pay-as-you-go basis. Amazon has
separate retail websites for some countries and also offers international shipping of some
of its products to certain other countries.

Amazon.com is the largest internet company by revenues in the world. It also is a


second largest employer in the United States. In 2015, Amazon surpassed Walmart as the
most valuable retailer in the United States by market capitalization. After three years,
2017, Amazon acquired Whole Foods Market for $13.4 billion, which vastly increased
Amazon’s presence as a brick-and-mortar retailer. Additional information, the Whole
Foods Market is an American supermarket chain which exclusively sells products free
from hydrogenated fats and artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, and sweeteners. The
Amazon, through its subsidiary, Whole Foods Market, Inc., offers healthy and organic
food and staples across its stores. It also offers a range of products like whole trade
bananas, organic avocados, organic large brown eggs, organic responsibly-farmed salmon
and tilapia, organic baby kale and baby lettuce, animal-welfare-rated 85% lean ground
beef, creamy and crunchy almond butter, organic gala and Fuji apples, organic rotisseries
chicken.

Amazon also offers other services, such as database offering, fulfillment,


publishing, certain digital content subscriptions, advertising and co-branded credit cards.
It was serves consumers through its retail Websites and focuses on selection, price and
convenience. The company designs its Websites to enable hundreds of millions of
products to be sold by them and third parties across dozens of product categories. It
allows customers to access its Websites directly and through its mobile Websites and
applications. The company serves authors and independent publishers with Kindle Direct
Publishing, an online service that lets independent authors and publishers choose a
royalty option and make their books available in the Kindle Store, along with its own
publishing arm, Amazon Publishing. It also offers programs other people, which is allow
authors, musicians, filmmakers, application developers and others to publish and sell
content.
Apple Company

Apple Inc., formerly Apple Computer,Inc., is a multinational corporation that


creates consumer electronics, personal computer, servers, and computer software, and is a
digital distributor of media content. Apple was formed by Steven Paul Jobs and Stephen
Gary Wozniak. They created a first Apple computer is on 1 st April 1976 and named
Apple 1. This was brought to the new company a vision of changing the way people
viewed computers. Jobs and Wozniak wanted to make computers small enough for
people for the aim to have them in their homes or offices.

Apple was incorporated in 1997 in California. For 1 st April 1976 until 1996 year,
Apple computer Inc was predominantly a manufacturer of personal computer that
includes Power Mac, Apple I, Apple II, Apple III and Macintosh lines. But it also faced
unstable sales and low market shares in this 20 year. This is because Steven Job resigns
the company in 1985 and he was rejoining in 1996 as a CEO of the company. He
brought with him a new corporate philosophy of identifiable product and simple design.
In year 2001, the company is introducing a great success of iPod music player and iTunes
Music Store in 2003, Apple become a leader in consumer electronic industry and media
sales industries, leading it to drop “computer” from the company’s name in 2007. The
company is now also known for its iOS range of smart phone, media player, and tablet
computer products that began with the iPhone, followed by the iPod Touch and then iPad.
And in present Apple is one of the biggest technology companies in the world.
Facebook Company

Facebook Inc. (FB), the social networking website which is started by Mark
Zuckerberg in 2004, has evolved into a massive company. It is considered one of the Big
Four technology companies along with Amazon, Apple, and Google.

Facebook has been led by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mark
Zuckerberg. Facebook's Chief Operating Officer is Sheryl Sandberg, its Chief Financial
Officer is Dave Wehner, its Chief Technology Officer is Mike Schroepfer, and its Chief
Product Officer is Chris Cox.

The company began as FaceMash before changing its name to TheFacebook and,
eventually dropping “the” from its name, to Facebook. Mark Zuckerberg and his
Harvard University roommate Eduardo Saverin launched the service for their classmates,
quickly expanding the service across other Ivy League institutions and then farther afield
to other schools. Facebook gradually added support for students at various other
universities, and eventually to high school students. In 2006, at least 13 years old people
have been allowed to become a registered user of Facebook. In February 2012, Facebook
held its initial public offering (IPO). The valuing of company was at $104 billion, which
is the largest valuation to date for a newly listed public. After three month, it began
selling stock to the public. Facebook makes most of its revenue is come from
advertisements that appear onscreen.
