RESULTS AND DISCUSSION

This section presents from the data obtained from the course of study.

This includes tables, along with their descriptions, explanations and

interpretation

The table 2 shows the computed percentage per category of pre-reading.

The computed percentage of the Easy Category is effective and has a total

percentage of 70. 33%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The computed percentage of the average category is effective and has a total

percentage of 58.33%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practice.

The computed percentage of the difficult category is effective and has a total

percentage of 54.33%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The table 3 shows the computed percentage per category of pre-reading.

The computed percentage of the easy category is effective and has a total

percentage of 87%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The computed percentage of the average category is effective and has a total

percentage of 83%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practice. The

computed percentage of the difficult category is effective and has a total

percentage of 82%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The table 4 shows the computed percentage per category of post-reading.

The computed percentage of the easy category is effective and has a total

percentage of 91.66%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The computed percentage of the average category is effective and has a total

percentage of 93%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practice. The

computed percentage of the difficult category is effective and has a total

percentage of 88.33%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The table 5 shows the computed percentage per category in post-reading.

The computed percentage of the Easy Category is effective and has a total

percentage of 97%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.

The computed percentage of the average category is effective and has a total

percentage of 98.33%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practice.

The computed percentage of the difficult category is effective and has a total

percentage of 98%, it shows that the majority of the indicators are practiced.
Summary of Total percentage of pre- reading and post-reading test

This part shows the total percentage of the three categories the easy,

average and difficult. From the result gathered from pre-reading and post

reading test.

Based on the computed percentage of pre and post-reading test, the pre-

reading test of the respondent no.1 is effective and has a total average of 61%

and the pre-reading test of the respondent no. 2 is very effective and has a total

average of 84%. While the post-reading test of the respondent no. 1 is very
effective and has a total average of 90% and the post-reading test of the

respondent no. 2 is very effective and has a total average of 97.67%. In this

case, since the total average of the post-reading test is greater than the pre-

reading test, this means that there is a significant difference between the non-

reader students with reading module and without reading module.

It also means that the respondents improved their reading skills when

they are used the customized reading module. Therefore, the customized

reading module has a positive impact to the non-reader students.
