Story Plot:

Scene 1: Beginning of the time travel

Magical (unicorn/ cinderella coach/ story book) brings Shelly to the journey of
time. Photos at her very young age remind her of how fast time goes by.

Backdrop: Plain black. Possibly cloth?

Key props: Planetarium, moon light, projector projecting images and aurora lights
Remarks: This scene is the mood-setting scene and to be the wow scene as this
gives her the first impression. Looking to spend more

Scene 2: The Encounter

Telling the story of how I met Shelly. One day a terrible friend gave me terrible
“sure-win” tips for stock investment. The stock went down 50% within a month. To
“compensate”, he introduced Shelly to me which he might have dated if not for this.

The night I asked Shelly to be my gf, I cooked a big meal, played some magic and
music, this will be the first part of the scene reminding of the beginning of our
relationship.

Just 1 month later, we celebrated her birthday in Bali, where I bought a small
diamond and made her a “1/3” engagement ring, reassuring her that I am serious
about the relationship.

Our relationship moved very fast and had many happy memories. Knowing that she
had to goto UK for her pastry course, and that the relationship wouldn’t last if we
stayed apart for a year, I made a bold move and decided to move to UK with her
while doing my own business.

Key props:

Remarks: Lobster soup will be at the start of the scene and the main setup will be
Bali and CUHK. For Bali, it can be the villa or the beach scene.
Scene 3: Life in UK
Bright and happy scene with a lot of greens, blue sky and clouds.

Shelly started her dessert course in UK, we both enjoyed lots of travelling and
relaxed lifestyle. The goodtime in UK gave us a taste of the “happy future”.
Backdrop: Blue sky
Key props:
5) Table with lots of cakes, dessert, culinary school uniform etc
(minor standalone item)
6) Picnic and horse racing (main scene)
7) Optional Travelling scene: (Santorini?)
8) Lumley Castle (main scene)
Remarks: 1 & 3 can possibly share the same lawn. Travelling scene can be changed
to elsewhere if Santorini is too hard or even deleted completely.

Scene 4: Life gets tough

Shelly graduated and started working while I also started my tough startup life.
During these days, Shelly helped me out a lot incl setting up the office in GZ, trying
dresses for Kalon all the time etc. To save money, we often eat at budget restaurants
as compared to her previous “quality eating style”.

This is the time that we both learn a lot especially when we got through 生老病死.
Her grandpa got cancer, my dog passed away, my brother’s first son came to the
world.

Props:
1) Graduate bear, gown, balloons (minor standalone item)
2) 南洋商業銀行 banner/atm indicating her work life (minor standalone item)
3) Mannequins displaying her “trial dresses” with Kalon (minor standalone item)

5) Hospital? Grandpa, baby and dog (Optional)
Remarks: to remind her about the tough times we have been through, bringing
down the mood before the very happy ending next scene. Overall darker tone and
minor tune music.
Scene 5: Looking into the future
After selling part of the shares and new opportunity arises, it is time to move on to
the next stage of life. Although life is still tough, one day we will make the dreams
come true: Opening her own café, having a house with a garden with many pets.
Finally, ending the life journey while we hold each other’s hands just as we do in
our young days.

Backdrop: Blue sky with white clouds? Then build the café/ house in front?

4) Old man holding into old lady’s hand (Acting/ Scene)
Remarks: This should be the area where I propose. Will need further planning in
terms of arrangement e.g. how I get in, how she gets off the car, how will be there
and doing what etc.
