The City Human Resource Management and Development Department is committed to

implement a quality system of hiring and promotion; create a continuing program for
career and personnel development; maximize human resources efforts; design an
award system to recognize and reward employees for their outstanding acts and
services for public interest; and implement effectively Civil Service laws and rules and
City Government’s policies and issuances, to the interest of public service.

The CHRMD envisions a progressive City Government of Mati governed by honest and
dedicated officials and whose public servants are highly-motivated, dynamic and
competent with sufficient benefits, receptive with professionalized service to clients.
