Three Big Ideas for a Future of Less Work and a Three-Dimensional Alternative

Summary

It is evident throughout history of capitalism advancement of technology has a deep impact on

replacing the human labours. It is necessary to devise a strategy which will benefit both the creators or
owners of technology and labour market. There should be a big idea to maintain an equilibrium of
fastening economy and three-dimensional labour-oriented interests like job generation, income stability
and leisure. The concept of universal basic income (UBI) and federal job guarantee (FJG) strategies
might be decisive in job creation and job guarantee to balance the socio-economic differences by public
investments to develop infrastructure facilities, promoting social and welfare services, decreasing the
working hours which helps in work-life balance. These strategies might bring in the paradigm shift to
encourage for working population to support to increase the standard of living and second by creating
work friendly environment by realigning the working hours and benefitting the automated companies to
increase the shareholders wealth.
