Supply Chain Production Planner

The role
We’re recruiting for a new production planner to join our busy supply chain team. We run an out-
sourced manufacturing model, so this role is at the heart of ensuring we are making the right
product, at the right time, in the right format to maintain service to our UK customers.

You’ll create the rolling 6-month production plan based on stock holding and demand forecasts,
manage capacity at your factories and help solve short and long-term manufacturing issues as and
when they come up.

You will oversee our UK production, which is made to stock, and look after 2 factories and a total of
6/7 lines. You will plan finished good production and the supply of printed packaging accordingly.

You will work closely with:

o the logistics team to ensure that finished goods stock is produced and collected on time
o the customer logistics team to ensure our customers ‘orders are fulfilled on time in full
o the forecasts team to ensure we are remaining responsive to the changing demands of our
customers
o the finance team to ensure our actual production costs stay within budgeted targets

Externally, you’ll be the face of Fever-Tree for your UK based factories

You’ll need to be incredibly organised, system-savvy and detailed-focussed, as well as a fantastic


communicator who is able to flex your delivery of messages across all kinds of stakeholders, from
factories to marketeers. You’ll have the chance to be involved in launching new NPD, cross-training
into other planning roles to support holiday cover, streamlining our ways of working and introducing
new performance reports.

The Fever-Tree supply chain is fast-paced, and every day has a new challenge. This role would suit
someone who has 3/5 years of experience in production/supply planning in FMCG and is looking to
broaden his/her experience and take
on more responsibility. You’ll need to be as comfortable managing messages to senior colleagues as
rolling up your sleeves and ensuring every single BOM has the right data in it.

Key responsibilities
Directly responsible for:

 Production planning for our UK business according to stock holding and forecasts
 Planning seasonal stock builds, running scenarios and making recommendations
 Ensuring data accuracy within our ERP system for your sites and lines (production dates,
WOR completion…)
 Reporting: production updates, sites performance, stock levels and production costs
 Trouble-shooting problems which impact production, communicating any impact on the
business to the right people
 Supporting NPD launches as needed

The ideal candidate will:


 Be degree-educated in a relevant discipline
 Have strong mathematical and reasoning skills
 Demonstrate ownership and pro-activity
 Be comfortable communicating with all departments and levels of seniority internally and
externally
 Have 3/5 years’ experience in production/supply planning in a fast-paced FMCG business
 Have end to end supply chain understanding
 Have experience in NetSuite or a similar ERP management system
 Be extremely organised, details oriented and meticulous
 Be able to keep several plates spinning at once and love taking-up challenges
