How teacher able to help child develop their creative and collaborative skills.

Collaborative learning.

 Collaborative learning happened when the pupils being put into a group while having lesson or
doing activity.
 Discussion and interaction between the group member able to develop collaborative skill.
 Idea sharing and brainstorming session that the pupil experience between group member able
to increase creative thinking skill as new idea and suggestion able to increase the knowledge of
the pupils including able to open the pupil’s way of thinking.
 Therefore, according to Share to Learn website, “student collaboration in the classroom is an
excellent educational enhancement.”

A Place for Learning

 Comfortable, safe and suitable place to study has become main reason of the intensify of
creative and collaborative skills.
 Comfortable in learning is when basic facilities such as table and chair are in good condition and
the classroom is clean.
 The place of study is safe when there is no dangerous material in classroom that can cause
incident or the pupils and teacher able to conduct teaching and learning session without feeling
threaten with anything.
 By having comfortable, safe and suitable place, pupils will able to keep their focus in lesson.
Bear in mind without focus, pupil will learn nothing and creativity of the pupil will be blocked.
 Table arrangement that suitable for interaction between pupils help to increase collaboration
skill.

Inculcate Music in Lesson

 According to Jill Suttie (2017), a new study suggests that listening to happy music promotes
more divergent thinking- a key element of creativity.
 Using song to teach able to cultivate the pupil love towards music.
 By using creative writing activity such as write their own lyric of a song or create an action song
surely able to let the pupil to express what they want to write freely.

Exposition of creative writing material

 The theme of the creative writing must be worldwide, touch the main issue happened in the
world.
 To understand creative writing material, higher level of understanding is needed. Therefore, the
pupil will try to collaborate with other people to increase their understanding.
  Worldwide and issue content of the creative thinking his will help to open the ways of thinking,
to more open-minded and critical thinking.

Problem-finding activity.

 According to D Robyn D. Shulman (2018), “problem-finding requires an intellectual and

imaginative vision to seek out what might be missing or should be added to something
important.”
 Teacher can provide a platform for the pupil to think deeply, creatively and critically as it is to
find problem, not to solve problem.
 Collaboration between teacher and pupil can be created, as this activity need close facilitate
from the teacher to make sure problem found by the pupils is really a ‘problem’.
