According to Merriam Webster, globalization is the act or process of globalizing
or simply the state of being globalize. This is through the development of an
increasingly integrated global economy marked especially by free trade, free flow of
capital, and the tapping of cheaper
foreign labor markets. Moreover, Levin
Institute defined globalization as a
process of interaction and integration
among the people, companies, and
governments of different nations, a
process driven by international trade
and investment and aided by
information technology. This process has effects on
the environment, on culture, on political systems, on
economic development and prosperity, and on
human physical well-being in societies around the
world.
Globalization can be thought of to be
the result of the opening up of the global
economy and the concomitant increase in
trade between nations. Globalization is about
the interconnectedness of people and
businesses across the world that eventually
leads to global cultural, political and economic
integration. It is the ability to move and
communicate easily with others all over the
world in order to conduct business internationally.

Globalization is the word used to describe

the growing interdependence of the world’s
economies, cultures, and populations, brought
about by cross-border trade in goods and services,
technology, and flows of investment, people, and
information
