March is Food Share Month
Please support our local food
shelf to keep the shelves full
of food and ready for
families in need. During the
March campaign, all
donations are matched by Minnesota Food
Share, which means every dollar goes further.
Make a donation today or anytime in March
and mark it with “Minnesota Food Share”
and Our Redeemer’s will send a check at the
end of the month. If you have a food
donation, please place it in the black tote
labeled March Food Shelf Campaign in the

Other Reminders!
 The Women of the ELCA blog is inviting women
everywhere to pray each Tuesday at noon in this
time of pandemic. The prayer sheet was attached
to today’s email.
 Julie Urke will be transmitting a 30-minute church
service to air on the radio on Sunday mornings at
11 am until churches are given permission to open.
Please listen at 11 am on KBMO 1290 AM.
 The ORW Annual Clothing Drive is April 13-15.
Please bring your items to the south of the stage
that week.
 Many of our 5th graders attended the Chalice
retreat held in New London on Saturday, March 14
at the Bill Gossman Pottery Studio and made the
chalice they will use for their First Communion.
 The “Windows on Easter” Community Bible Study
that met on Thursdays during Lent is canceled for
the rest of the Lenten season. Sixteen individuals
from seven churches attended the first three
sessions! Tentative plans are to continue next year.
 Please sponsor the radio broadcast in honor or
memory of a loved one. Available dates are April 5,
12, 19, 26 & all of May ($35).
 Coffee hour volunteers are needed! Please come
& share the fellowship plus money for a special
cause or event. Sign up in the Fellowship Café.
 Readers and communion servers are needed for
the 2020 year. Please sign up in the church office!
 Session 4 for the Celebration Ringers has been put
on hold for now.
 The Our Redeemer’s office will be open and staffed
as normal; however, please call 843-3151 before
you stop.
 New Member Sunday on March 29 & classes will be
rescheduled to a different Sunday in the future.

150th Anniversary • 1870 to 2020
In 2020, Our Redeemer’s Lutheran will be
150 years old! We are in the process of
assembling a unique history book filled with
stories and remembrances from throughout
our congregation’s history.
Several have answered the call to contribute,
but we are in need of better representation
from the congregation. We need stories
about the Smorgasbord, Youth Activities/Trips,
Confirmation/Sunday School, Highlights of
ministry in Benson & beyond, etc.
Please share your favorite memories and
experiences. Responses are needed ASAP, so
please don’t delay!
