In ancient times, it was a beautiful village in the land of the kingdom of Mataram, namely
Ngasem Village. The village is led by a wise village head and named Ki Sela Gondang. Ngasem
Village is located at the foot of Mount Telomoyo. The people in this village live in harmony and
peace. Most work as farmers.
At one time in the village of Ngasem there will be an event of merti desa and alms of the
earth as a form of gratitude for the inhabitants of the Ngasem Village for the abundance of
produce and safe conditions.
One night, Ki Sela Gondang collected all village officials in his house. As is customary in
the framework of merti village, it takes a means of repelling reinforcements in the form of
offerings and sacred heirlooms of a famous receipt at that time. For this purpose, the Village
Head sent his daughter to borrow a sacred heirloom owned by his friend, a receipt named Ki
Hajar Salokantara. These heirlooms were originally used as a reinforcement or one of the
conditions for holding people's parties so that the event ran smoothly without obstacles.
Endang Sawitri carried out his father's decree to borrow the inheritance from the sage, his
father's best friend. He went to the slopes of Mount Telomoyo where the receipt resides. Endang
Sawitri rides a horse that is trained through steep rocky roads and beautiful canyons.
After a tiring journey, Endang Sawitri arrived at the Ki Hajar Salokantara hermitage.
After recounting the purpose of his arrival, the receipt entered the padepokan, while Endang
Sawitri waited in the pendapa while enjoying a meal served by the padepokan cook. A few
moments later, the Sage came out again with an object wrapped in a brown scabbard that looked
worn. The Sage pondered the object carefully. A moment later, Lia unmasked the worn cloth.
Apparently, the object he was carrying was a keris that was still skeletal. And gave it to Endang
Sawitri.
On the way back to Ngasem Village, Endang Sawitri felt very tired and sleepy. Arriving
at the foot of the mountain, he decided to stop and look for a cool place to unwind and
drowsiness. He fell asleep and dreamed, it is unfortunate when he woke up the heirloom was
gone.
Endang Sawitri began to tell all the events he experienced. My father told this to his best
friend, it turns out the heirloom entered into the womb of his daughter. The only solution is to
marry his daughter to his father's best friend. But after marriage they must get divorced.
Day by day passedang palm oil finally gave birth, but all residents were surprised when
he gave birth to a baby dragon. Although many residents hate him, he still treats the dragon like
caring for his son. Until the dragon grew up he sought his father to the hermitage of Ki Hajar
Salokantara, a cave on the slopes of Mount Telomoyo. in order to prove that what he said was
true, Baro Klinting rushed to the foot of Mount Telomoyo. He tried as hard as possible to be able
to wrap the foot of the mountain with his body. However, almost the tail and head can not be
fused. Baro Klinting began to panic, but he did not lose his mind. He stuck out his tongue to
touch his tail. With the permission of the Gods, Baro Klinting can circle Mount Telomoyo
according to Ki Hajar Salokantara's request. Finally, Ki Hajar acknowledged Baro Klinting as his
biological son who had been left imprisoned.
On the other side of the slopes of Mount Telomoyo there is a village called Desa Pathok.
One day the people of Pathok Village, the village at the foot of Mount Telomoyo, will hold a
charity party after the harvest is over. In the middle of the party, suddenly a boy arrived who was
none other than the incarnation of Baro Klinting. He looks dirty and has wounds all over his
body with a very sharp and fishy odor. The boy asked the villagers for food. However, nobody
gave him food or drinking water.
Finally, the boy was told to get out of the party arena. With extreme crying and
heartache, the child left the party. He walked aimlessly while continuing to cry. Finally he
arrived at a hut which turned out to be the home of an old widow named Nyai Latung. The old
woman gave him food and he told her the unfriendly attitude of the citizens.
A moment later, Baro Klinting ran from Nyai Latung's house and returned to the party
crowd. He tried again to request a meal at a party held by the residents of Pathok Village.
However, residents still reject the presence of the child. Angry Baro Klinting ran to the middle of
the party arena. He stood on his waist and held a contest. He plugged a stick to the ground. He
challenged whoever could pull the stick, he was a great person. No one citizen is capable.
Then, he gently holds the stick that is firmly planted on the ground. What a wonder the
villagers. Only by using one hand, Baro Klinting can slowly pull the stick, then a miracle will
occur. The former stick of the stick sticks out very heavy water. A torrent of water is getting
heavier and becomes a big flood. People panic. Hearing this, he hung up the mortar ordered by
the Baro Klinting.
Finally, Nyai Latung decided to live on the edge of the swamp. He named the drowned
village the name Rawa Pening, which came from a pool of clear water that formed marshes. The
place was getting more and more crowded because of the many migrants who settled in the area.
On the other hand, Ki Hajar Salokantara had believed that Baro Klinting was his son as
the incarnation of his sacred heirlooms. Baro Klinting who transformed into a human child has
been freed from the curse. He met his father on the slopes of Mount Telomoyo. They both went
home to meet Endang Sawitri.

Hari demi hari berlalu endang sawitri akhirnya melahirkan, namun semua warga heran
ketika ia melahirkan seekor anak naga. Walau banyak warga membencinya, ia tetap merawat
pesta sedekah bumi setelah panen usai.
mencabut lidi, lalu keajaiban pun terjadi.
Mereka berdua pun pulang menemui Endang Sawitri.
