Grouting binders
Product Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR® are Portland cement clinker (“P” Types) or granulated blast furnace slag
based (“R” Types) microfine cements designed for grouting into soil, rock and concrete.
Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR® feature a maximum particle size from d95 ≤ 6 µm to d95 ≤ 16 µm.
Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR® type R is comparable to cements with high sulphate resistance
according to DIN 1164-1.

Field of applications Geotechnical grouting (soil, rock)

Grouting into concrete structures (cracks and voids in concrete / masonry)
Additive in mortar or concrete (improves flowability, early strength and durability)

Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR type P and R grout must always be prepared with the dispersant Grout Preparation
Dyckerhoff MSH flüssig (FM). Grout preparation must be done in colloidal mixers or other equivalent
high-speed mixers in the following mixing order:
1. Water
2. Dyckerhoff MSH flüssig (FM) (Mixing time: approx. 30 seconds)
3. Dyckerhoff MIKRODUR (Mixing time not less than 3 minutes)
The recommended time of workability after mixing is up to 60 minutes. The slurry should be moved
continuously during the grouting process. Grout characteristics should be checked according to
“Instruction leaflet for grouting works with microfine cements in soil”.

Freshly mixed MIKRODUR grout can cause skin irritations. Avoid contact with skin where possible Safe Handling and Storage
and wash exposed skin promptly with water. Use dust mask when breaking bags and mixing. If
cement grout gets into the eye, rinse immediately and repeatedly with water for 15 minutes and seek
prompt medical attention. MIKRODUR must be stored in dry locations. In original and undamaged
bags the shelf-life of MIKRODUR is 6 month. After longer storage periods MIKRODUR should be
checked before each application.
The water soluble chromate content in MIKRODUR is below 2 ppm.

All MIKRODUR products were tested through Hygiene-Institut, D-45879 Gelsenkirchen, accredition Environmental Aspects
number DAP-PL-2548.00, issued by Deutscher Akkreditierungsrat (German Accredition Council).
All existing test reports can be requested.
