Recommendation for use

The following directions and recommendations are intended to serve as a guide and may require modifications to meet local
needs.
» THINNING: use as received.
» MATERIALS: QUAKERCOAT® 024 is designed for coating of steel and galvanised steel.
» SURFACE PREPARATION: the intended substrate must be clean and dry to accept the protective coating properly. Loose
debris, dust, or other contamination may degrade product effectiveness and performance.
» APPLICATION: for spray applications. Maintain equipment always clean. Use with adequate ventilation. Avoid breathing
overspray or vapours. Consult Material Safety Data Sheet for handling and safety information. It is recommended to spray
the coating between 30 and 40 ºC.
» CURING: minimum energy required is 150 mJ/cm², but thicker films or darker substrates may require higher energy
dosages.
» CLEANING: it is recommended to use QUAKERCOAT UV Thinner or QUAKERCOAT UV diluent to preclean or rinse the
system. Those products offer excellent compatibility with QUAKERCOAT® 024 and will not impart the final corrosion
protection.
