It was a rainy afternoon there was nobody on the street apart from this.

It was very
cold.
I was lying on my bed all afternoon; I wanted it to stop raining as soon as possible. I
looked out the window and saw a very tall and slim girl. I stared at her and suddenly
she made a movement with her hand and finally left.
The next morning I went looking for her all over the town and then I saw her, sitting on
a bench reading a book. I sat next to her and started talking to her, but she didn't
answer me. Then a man came to sit on the bench and although I told him it wasn’t
free, he told me that he was just sitting on the bench.
A cold sweat ran down my back. Suddenly the girl was not there. That night I could not
sleep.
The next day while I was washing the dishes, I noticed a cold breeze. When I turned
around, she was holding my hand; she took me to the terrace of my house and kissed
me. Then she left, and I never saw her again. Definitely, it had been a good day.

It had been a very long trip. It took three days to reach London from Southampton. I
was exhausted. So many hours walking and riding my horse through those paths across
the fields and hills made me feel exhausted. However, I finally arrived in London. I had
to meet that woman before mid-night or she would leave and, in that moment, when I
arrived at the city, it was 9 o’clock. I couldn’t waste any time.
I walked down the streets looking for her house. She told me in one of her letters that
her house had two trees in the garden and the hose had three floors. I asked people
that were in the street if they knew where that house was, but they all told me that
that house didn’t exist or that they didn’t know where it was. The hours went by and
anyone was in the streets, as all the people were seeping by that time. It was eleven
o’clock.
I thought she had lied to me and I started to feel very tired and sleepy. However, as I
was walking through a path in a little hill, I finally saw that house. It had two large trees
in the entrance and the house had three floors. I smiled and thought: “Yes, I finally
found the house!” After realising that I had found that woman’s house I decided to
walk and go towards the door. I asked if it there was anyone there. After a few
seconds, I saw a light in one of the windows. It definitively was a candle, and it was
moving. The door opened and I saw that woman for the first time. She was young and
so beautiful. She asked me if I was the man from Southampton. I told her it was me.
When I told her that I was the man who was searching, she let me in the house. She
told me my letters were very nice and that made her fall in love. I was surprised with
her comment. Then, the bells of the clock of the house rang. It was mid-night. She told
me to go downstairs, where she had thousands of wine bottles.
As we arrived, she offered me to drink some wine. I drank a little bit and she told me
that her husband had died some months ago in a battle at Reading. She also told me
she was very sad without her husband and that no one loved her at that moment. At
that moment, she approached me and she told me: “I think no one loves me, but I love
you.” After that, she kissed me. I thought she was beautiful and I realised I had fallen in
love, too. I told her: ‘I love you, too.” And we kissed again. After this day walking and
looking for her house, definitely, it had been a good day.

Firstly, I’d been thinking about it for days, I didn’t know what to do. My
mother told me every day that I didn’t lose anything by meeting this boy,
and I kept telling him over and over again that I wasn’t really sure. The
days were passing and there was less and less time left and I had not
decided what it was that I would end up doing. One night while I was about
to sleep-my phone rang, I looked at my phone and I saw that it was Marc,
the guy who had been asking me every day what I would end up doing.
After ten minutes, I made a decision very quickly and I replied that where
and at what time we would meet. At dinnertime, my mom and I were
talking about what I’d wear to spend that great day with that kid, and
suddenly my mom said:

- We go upstairs and I let you try one of my favorite dresses.

She told me it looked fantastic on me, and I finally decided to put it on. The
day arrived, it was 12 in the morning and I had met him at 12:30, my
mother accompanied me to the door and said:

- Don’t be nervous, everything is gonna be all right.

Me and Marc had been together all day, we went to eat in a very cool
restaurant and in the afternoon we went to the port of Barcelona to walk
and to have an ice cream.

Finally, I looked at the clock and saw that it was eight o'clock at night, and I
remembered that my mother had told me that at nine o'clock I had to be
home, I quickly said goodbye to Marc and without expecting it, he kissed
me on the mouth. Definitely, it had been a good day.
