AIESEC Info Session is
an event held in order to
promote about exchange
to the college students
and fresh graduates in
Bandung.
The purpose of this event
was to promote exchange
with AIESEC to the stu-
dents in Bandung and
also to explain in detail
about the exchange itself.
Before the main event
was held, the organizing
committee and member of
AIESEC Bandung did an
open stand during a week
in December 2nd-10th in
various universities. The
universities were ITB,
Unpad, Telkom, and
Widyatama.

Long March Celebration of

World HIV AIDS Day 2010
AIESEC LC Bandung, along with
millions of other students and
organizations across the globe,
commemorate in the celebration of
World HIV AIDS Day. Starting from
December, our LC has held Project
Based on Exchange (PBoX) based
on HIV/AIDS.
The organizing committee held a
pre-event with Komisi
Penanggulangan AIDS (KPA) of
Bandung city in coordination with
some governmental institution and
other NGOs concerning HIV/AIDS.
On December 1st 2010, the event
was started with the long march by
2010 students from 12 high schools
around Bandung. The long march
took a route from each high school
directly to Bandung Indah Plaza
(BIP). The crowd started at 7.00 AM
and was expected to arrive at BIP
around 9.00 AM.
13 AIESECers from LC Bandung
joined the long march as the
coordinator for high school
participants. In this pre-event,
AIESEC LC Bandung, especially
the team of PBoX HIV/AIDS, took
part in 2 activities under the whole
event, which was coordinating high
school participants during the long
march with other NGOs, and
delivering the declaration speech
“Youth Around the World Against
HIV/AIDS” to the society.
During the declaration two AIESEC
LC Bandung members along with
Bonang, the organizing committee
president of PBoX HIV/AIDS, came
up to the stage as the
representatives of college students,
and received a symbolical tree from
Mr. Dada Rosada.
The organizing committee and
members of AIESEC LC Bandung
have successfully spread the news
and promoted about the event of
PBoX HIV AIDS and also the
prevention of HIV itself. Hopefully
by participating in the World HIV/
AIDS Day, the society will know
more about HIV AIDS and
understand the importance of
fighting against the disease.
Make sure you, as the citizen of the
world, take part in this exciting and
immense HIV/AIDS Project!

Press Conference
PBoX HIV AIDS held a press
conference on Saturday,
December 12th 2010 at
Gedung KPA on Banteng
Street. A number of media
came to this event, which was
Mingguan Galura, Bisnis
Indonesia, Tribun jabar, and
Radar Bandung who pose
questions to the organizing
committee about PBoX HIV/
AIDS, AIESEC, and the
sustainability of the project.
PBoX HIV/AIDS
Opening Event
The opening event of PBoX
HIV AIDS is going to be
held on Sunday, December
19th 2010 at 1 PM.
This event will take place at
Warung Ide.
There will be a movie
played on HIV/AIDS that will
trigger the excitement of the
participants to take part in
PBoX HIV/AIDS activities.
During this event, the
participants will enjoy a
movie about HIV/AIDS
There will also be a
discussion about HIV/AIDS
with an NGO. Hopefully this
opening event will open the
eyes of the participant
about HIV and how to
prevent the incurable
disease.
This event is open for
public, so mark your
calendar and make sure to
come to the opening of
PBoX HIV/AIDS!

PBoX Environment is
finally holding its first
learning event! It will be
held on December 18th
2010 at 8 AM until 1 PM.
There will be a workshop
"Re-using Waste" in
3 Senior High School,
together with the partner
Yayasan Kontak and Bilic.
The speaker of this
workshop is Dr. Dwinita
Larasati, MA ITB's Design
Product Lecturer. Dec 18,
2010 08.00-13.00
Besides helding a
workshop, PBoX
Evnironment will also have
another event, which is
social walk and garbage-
picking with the trashmen.
It will start at 7 AM at
3 senior high school and
ends at Warung Indung.
