Recipes That Protect Your DNA

Chicken Basil Stir Fry
w/ Brown Rice
Serves 2-4

The Ingredients Directions


1 lb. Boneless chicken thighs, Heat oil in a skillet over high heat. When
skin removed, fat trimmed off, hot, add minced garlic and stir for 20
thinly sliced crosswise seconds until fragrant.
4 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
(EVOO) Add the chicken and stir fry with a wooden
4 cloves garlic, minced spoon for 2 minutes to cook through.
3 tbsp oyster sauce
2 tbsp soy sauce Add oyster sauce, soy sauce and chicken
1/4 cup Chicken stock stock. Mix gently to coat the chicken.
2 bunches Thai basil leaves,
picked off stem Toss in basil and gently turn meat over
leaves until they are wilted. Remove pan
from heat. Plate on a warm platter.

Serve over brown rice.

Crostini with Sun-dried
Tomato Tapenade
Makes 15-20 crostini

The Ingredients Directions


1 Sourdough Baguette Preheat oven to 350°F.
1 cup sun-dried tomatoes,
finely minced (easiest if Slice baguette in 1/2" slices. Place bread
tomatoes already packed in slices on baking sheet. Bake for 10 minutes
EVOO until surfaces crisp. Remove and let cool.

Makes 4 Cups

The Ingredients Directions


1 cup walnut halves, raw Preheat oven to 350°F.
