TREE

STAR
1. Create a star template out of cardboard
measuring about 4” (10 cm) tall.
2. With B, hold the yarn tail in the
middle of the star.
3. Wrap yarn around each point of the
star evenly, and then back around the
center using one continuous piece of
yarn. If the yarn on the tips of the star
begin to fall off, place a dot of hot glue
on each point to secure them.
4. Once the entire star has been covered
evenly and no cardboard is showing, cut
the yarn and attach it to the back of the
star by tying in place.
5. Place a dot of hot glue on the head
of the nail at the top of the tree. Press
the star firmly in place on top of the nail,
centering the star on the nail.
POMPOM ORNAMENTS
1. Following manufacturer’s instructions,
make 18 pompoms varying in size and
color using C, D, E, F, and G, leaving
two long yarn tails for attaching the
pompoms to the hangers.

2. Tie each pompom to a decorative
hanger. Secure to the wall with push pins.
3. Trim the longer strands of yarn so
that they are even with the rest of the
pompom.
PAPER DECORATIONS
(optional)
1. Using the multi-colored cardstock and
craft punches, punch varying shapes
and sizes of paper decorations. Attach
to the wall using low tack tape.
