 Lecture information

The module consists of two components:

• 2 SWS lecture: Tuesdays, 10:00 – 11:30, room 48-453

• 1 SWS exercise: Thursdays, 13:45 – 15:15, room 36-223

Exercises

• Every other week

• First exercise: 2nd week of term (Thursday, 07. Nov. 2018)

Credit Points

• 4 ECTS

Information

• Type of exam depending on number of students (written exam

very likely)

• 30min oral exam or 90min written exam

• Prerequisite: 50% of credit points from the assignments

• Exam for practice purposes will be provided during term

 OLAT

The lecture will be organized using OLAT.

• Enrolling for lecture and exercise

→ Password: INF-19-31-V-6 (KIS course ID)

• Slides for lecture are provided (→ folder Course Material/Slides

in OLAT) commonly until 9am before lecture (old version already
online)

• Assignments (→ folder Course Material/Assignments in OLAT)

• Announcements via Email (e.g. in case of skipped lecture)

 Assignments

Assignments

• Every other week assignments with problems relating to the

current lecture material (Tuesdays)

• Time to finish exercises: 1.5 weeks (Thursdays, see due date on

each assignment)

• Hand in one solution per student

• Marking with credit points (usual setup)

Qualification for exam

• 80% of credit points for each assignment

• Automatically corrected exercises in OLAT. You can retry until

you have requested amount of points.
