Dear Mrs Gandhi,

As you know I interviewed your son, you must have seen it on television the other day. He has utter respect for democracy, that was the one
thing that stood out about him from the beginning when he said ,”Democracy is about non-arbitrary decisions. However, his views for the
country are clear and practical. He is of the thought that there are billions of youngsters in this country with tremendous energy and the energy
is not being utilized to the maximum. Rahul believes strongly in the empowerment of women, he wants to ,”unleash the power of these
women”.

When I asked Rahul how he could accuse Mr Modi for being responsible for the riots that took place in Gujarat when he (Modi) was Chief
Minister, even though Modi got a clean chit by the court, he could only say that there is an ‘ideological battle’ between BJP and Congress. Even
though a few of the Congressmen were involved in the 1984 riots, Rahul’s point of argument stood that the government in 1984 was not
abetting and aiding the riots like the government during the Gujarat riots (even though they got a clean chit from the court).

Also, when questioned about AAP being propped up by Congress to somehow divide anti-congress vote bank, he denied the claims and
confidently said that the congress is going to win the election this time. He showed humility when he said he doesn’t believe in dynasty and
how he became what he is through effort and sacrifice. He has fresh ideas for our country which I’m sure our leaders could experiment with, for
example; allowing 15 seats elected by the nation to allow our nation to have a more open system. When Rahul was questioned about his
degree from Cambridge, he kept his cool and responded calmly. He did not wish to verbally attack Subramanian Swamy.

Rahul has, I can say this with surety, attained victory over the concept of wins and losses. The way he talked, I could see that he works to
succeed but if he doesn’t he gets only momentarily sad but then he rises to work harder. This is because he feels strongly that the system of our
country needs a change, and he can bring it. There are many weaknesses that Rahul has, but he definitely knows that even if his family wasn’t
into politics, he would surely be in it because he feels strongly for the betterment and empowerment of our nation. It was a pleasure
interviewing him!

Yours sincerely,
