POLICIES RELATING TO ACTIVITIES ACADEMIC AND NON-ACADEMIC IN JAMBI


UNIVERSITY

JAMBI-In connection with the increasing intensity of the spread of Corona Virus Disease-19
(COVID-19), the University of Jambi appealed to the entire University of Jambi Family to
remain calm and promote rationality without reducing vigilance in responding to the latest
situation.

Therefore, according to the results of the Jambi University Leadership Meeting held on Saturday,
March 14, 2020, several policies related to Academic and Non-Academic activities were
produced.

A. ACADEMIC POLICY

1. All face-to-face lectures are carried out in the form of Online Lectures / e-Learning / WA /
Google Classroom / Edmundo or other suitable forms.

2. All forms of field lectures / practices outside of campus / activities / contests etc. are
postponed until an undetermined time limit.

3. Online learning tools can be accessed through http://elearning.unja.ac.id

4. Management and guidance of the final project can be accessed through http://elista.unja.ac.id

5. Online correspondence and disposition can be accessed via http://surat.unja.ac.id

6. Tutorials on each of the above applications, can be accessed via http://www.lptik.unja.ac.id/k

7. Related to seminars, meetings, teleconferences with Zoom Cloud will be facilitated by LPTIK
through the page www.lptik.unja.ac.id

B. NON-ACADEMIC POLICIES

1. Suspension of all trips of Lecturers and Education Personnel abroad until an undetermined
deadline.

2. Students, Lecturers, Education Personnel who have just returned from abroad are required to
isolate themselves for 14 days and report to the head of the work unit
3. Students, Lecturers, Education Personnel who have a fever or cough or runny nose and
shortness of breath, must be examined by the Jambi University Health Services Unit.

4. Students, Lecturers, Education Personnel who experience fever or cough or runny nose and
shortness of breath, must wear a health mask.

5. Students, Lecturers, Education Personnel who experience fever or cough or runny nose and
shortness of breath, are expected to reduce contact with others.

6. Students, Lecturers, Education Personnel are expected to continue to practice a healthy


lifestyle by exercising, taking regular baths, consuming healthy food and washing their hands
more often with soap

ABOUT

DISEASE PREVENTION OF CORONA VIRUS DISEASE (COVID-19)

IN HIGHER EDUCATION, MINISTRY OF EDUCATION AND CULTURE

Dear.

1. Leader of State University (PTN)

2. Head of Higher Education Service Institution (LL Dikti)

The World Health Organization (WHO) has changed the transmission status of Covid-19 from
Public Health Emergency International Concern has become a Pandemic status. Therefore, we
are is needed to prevent the spread of Covid-19 infections as well as to challenge various
situation with all the possibilities.

For that we convey some anticipations for health and safety as follows:

1. Leaders of PTN and LL. Dikti conveyed to the academic community to become ambassadors
education on Clean and Healthy Behavior (PHBS), conducting social disting units each work,
implementing and applying PHBS as well as increasing endurance body, according to
instructions given by the Republic of Ministry of Health Indonesia;

2. Delivering Corona Virus Prevention Precaution Protocol (Covid-19) to lecturers, students, and
education personnel at PTN and LL Dikti respectively;

3. Health studies program and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery and other
Health Workers who are studying in the semester 5/6/7 or mid Completing the final project,
please be a health ambassador and be approved Tackle and restore Covid-19 in their respective
communities;

4. During the Covid-19 infection pandemic, the leaders of PTN and LL Dikti conducted
campaigns towards the time of carrying out the Tri Dharma of Higher Education activities, by
conducting and Research teaching and learning processes, research and service (such as Distance
Learning, remote office, and other recline);

5. Organizing distance learning in accordance with the conditions of each PT, and help
students to learn from home with Learn to dare both synchronous and asynchronous, through
the platform: Google Classes / Edmodo / Schoology / Classdojo (for children), to update video
material through: Camtasia / Screencast-O-Matic / Seesaw / Xrecorder, and for training you can
go through Quizlet (flashcards and diagrams), Quizizz (homework) or Kahoot;

6. Distance learning is highly recommended for PTN / PTS in the Greater Jakarta Area,
Bandung, DI Yogyakarta, Solo, Semarang, Malang, Surabaya, Bali, and Manado and regions
others that have been confirmed are suspect-Covid 19;

7. Postpone academic ceremonial activities (eg graduation, inauguration of professors /


professors, dies natalis, scientific speeches and scientific meetings (such as seminars and
workshops), etc .;

8. Postpone non-academic events such as ceremonies and regular joint sports;

9. Postponing student organization activities involving many people, both on campus and off
campus. Students reduce mobility and do social distancing, self detection, and self quarantine;

10. Postpone sending lecturers, students and education personnel to affected countries Covid-19
and postponed the reception of visiting lecturers, students and guests from abroad;

11. Always increase awareness in the response when in the learning process teaching there are
lecturers, students, and educational staff found to have experienced illness or body condition is
not fit so that it does not recommend coming to work and seek treatment immediately to the
hospital;

12. Organize the implementation of teaching and learning activities in the form of practice (such
as practice laboratory, clinical practice, industry practice, etc.), by ensuring that these places of
practice implement efforts to prevent the transmission of Covid-19 infection, so it needs to be
adjusted, rescheduled and moved with the development of the situation.

Hopefully our prevention efforts can keep us all in shape always healthy and safe from
