13-20 Dairy Entrepreneurship Development Scheme (Deds) - Relaxation in Timelines For Uploading Claims For Fy 2019-2020 PDF
“It has been decided to extend one time relaxation to those banks who could not upload fresh
applications of DEDS, due to ensure portal issues (templates changes), technical reasons, budget
enhancement etc. DEDS subsidy applications for the current year i.e.01 April 2019 onwards can
be submitted in ENSURE portal from 16 March 2020 to 31 March 2020, irrespective of time
limit of first uploading. Please note that the first and second level application should be
submitted before 31 March 2020. No further request will be entertained for issues faced in this
regard by banks.”
A budget provision of Rs. 5.02 crore has been made by Govt. of India for 2019-20 for Punjab state
out of which Rs. 2.97 crore will be available under General category, Rs.1.99 crore under SC
category and rest of the budget will be available under ST category
The applications received during the FY 2019-2020 are eligible under the scheme and subsidy
will be released by NABARD subject to availability of funds under the scheme.
In view of above, Branch Incumbents are advised that pending DEDS claims, if any, in loan
accounts in FY 2019-2020 be submitted to Head Office through their respective Regional Office
before 26.03.2020 for onward submission to NABARD through DEDS Ensure portal and current
claims on daily basis.
Please note that if any borrower is deprived of eligible subsidy due to non submission or late
submission of subsidy claim, it shall be personal responsibility of the Incumbent.
All other aspects of the scheme guidelines remain unchanged and have to be followed.
All concerned are advised to note the above guidelines for meticulous compliance.

In view of above, we may issue the above guidelines as per draft circular enclosed to all our offices and
ensure timely submission of all eligible subsidy claims under the scheme to Head Office through their
respective R.O. for onward submission of the same on ensure portal of NABARD.
