    Atty. Alvin Acosta, 38, currently serves as the Acting Deputy Executive Secretary for Legal
    Affairs of the Office of the President from July 1 st, 2016. As Deputy Executive Secretary for
    Legal Affairs, he supervises, controls, and provides direction to the Legal Office, the Legislative
    Office and the Discipline Office under the Office of the President.

    Prior to his current post as Acting Deputy Executive Secretary, he served as a Technical
    Assistant with the rank of Assistant Secretary and Counsel for QuadRiver Energy Corporation,
    Philnew Hydro Power Corporation and Philnewriver Power Corporation. He was a former Senior
    Associate at Medialdea Ata Bello Guevarra & Suarez Law firm, and also a Junior Associate at
    Ubano Ancheta Sianghio & Lozada Law Office.

    Atty. Acosta holds a Bachelor of Laws at the College of Law, University of the Philippines
    (UP)-Diliman and was admitted to the Philippine Bar on May 3, 2007. He holds a Bachelor’s
    Degree in Political Science graduating cum laude at UP Manila.
